Re: The NHL Thread
First period was just awful.

Re: The NHL Thread
so my friends are saying that the game was rigged.. lol Crosby scoring the winner in the shootout!
... classic story book ending! hahaha
the second period was the best... all Buffalo!!
the switching sides in the middle of the third kinda killed the flow. They should have let Buffalo get the side closer to their bench ... since they were the home team!
blue: ur poor hawks.. lol every time i check the scoresheet they get scored against it's 8-2 la ..third period.

Re: The NHL Thread
Yeah, those switches in the third and in overtime were real momentum killers.

Re: The NHL Thread
I can't believe I thought adding Clemensson to my fantasy team was a good idea.

Re: The NHL Thread
Dear Blackhawks,
I know Toews just pretty much killed his Calder chances by getting injured for the next month. As for Martin Havlat, well, just forget about him. But you guys are talented even without those two. You barely stand a shot a making the playoffs now, but the city is still talking about you. But the thing is, the past few games have convinced me you're not quite ready yet. You really need to do what Toews said and HATE TO LOSE a little more. You're really not giving your all out there.
Sincerely,
Blue Phoenix
Dear Sabres,
See above.
Sincerely,
Blue Phoenix

Evgeni Nabokov, San Jose Sharks
Chris Osgood, Detroit Red Wings
DEFENSEMEN
* Nicklas Lidstrom, Detroit Red Wings
* Dion Phaneuf, Calgary Flames
Ed Jovanovski, Phoenix Coyotes
Duncan Keith, Chicago Blackhawks
Chris Pronger, Anaheim Ducks
Sergei Zubov, Dallas Stars
FORWARDS
* Henrik Zetterberg, Detroit Red Wings
* Pavel Datsyuk, Detroit Red Wings
* Jarome Iginla, Calgary Flames
Jason Arnott, Nashville Predators
Marian Gaborik, Minnesota Wild
Ryan Getzlaf, Anaheim Ducks
Shawn Horcoff, Edmonton Oilers
Anze Kopitar, Los Angeles Kings
Rick Nash, Columbus Blue Jackets
Henrik Sedin, Vancouver Canucks
Paul Stastny, Colorado Avalanche
Joe Thornton, San Jose Sharks
*voted in by fans - starters.
Roberto Luongo was voted in as the starting goaltender, but has decided to opt out.
Not liking the goalie choice..Leclaire should be there. 1.97 goals-against average, league best 7 shutouts and .928 save percentage. And since Luongo opted out, it only makes sense to pick the person who was second is votes: Lecalire.
oh well. the all star game is not all that exciting .. but im kinda looking foward to the "slam dunk" style shootout contest!
EAST roster will be released tmw. the starters are, Crosby Aflie, Lecavalier, Chara, Markov and Brodeur.
--
hahahhahahaha 4 goals on 11 shots... against raycroft ...leafs only had 6 shots on net.. .vs the LA KINGS!

Re: The NHL Thread
That would just be a nightmare. It would be time to fire Darcy Regier.
