Re: The NHL Thread
Resay, trying reading the effing paper or flipping on the radio. The Blackhawks are currently just a couple of points out of a playoff spot but they have an excellent chance of making it. They have a winning record for the current point in the season - their best in ten years - and they've been beating on the top teams in the league. Detroit has played them four times so far and lost every time, and they are the best team in the league. Ottawa, the best team in the Eastern Conference, also fell to the Hawks. The two rookies everyone is talking about, Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane, are both serious candidates for the Calder.

Re: The NHL Thread
quite honestly i've been soo off from sports center since i had no access to a tv for the longest time.
and i dont have much interest in hockey to go on nhl.com nor read about it on the paper.
and when hockey is on the radio i make it a point to change it right away.
yeap, i'm a true hater.

Hockey is like...my wife. So you've basically insulted my wife. Go die somewhere.

umm.. so u have no interest in hockey.. but want to see the hawks play.. maybe if u left the radio one for about a period or two.. u could hear the likes of towes and kane play! man if i lived in chicago i would go to every home game! watching those 2 play is totally worth the price of admission!!
marty havlat back on the IR.... :S that's gotta suck! the hawks just need to be consistent...which will come with experience.... they are definitely the team to watch for in the near future.

yeah i would love to go cuz i hear its fun and i would love to experience it.
thats the only reason i would go.
and hearing hockey on the radio would make no sense to me if i dont know any players.
you kidding me son? the whole nation is hating on your wife. nhl is going keep getting lower and lower in everything. i feel bad for hockey fans in USA. they should move to canada.
i've never really had much interest. its fun to watch but never got into it.

Re: The NHL Thread
I dunno..it looks like ESPN is gonna start picking up NHL games again, which should increase viewership.

i know right!
lol everytime I would come home from hockey with bruises or an injury and my mom would get upset, I'd just shrug my shoulders and say "spousal abuse".

Wow. Spoken like a true Cubs fan. "I hear it's fun and just want to experience it?" I'd prefer to have an unpopular team than one which attracts fairweather flies.
The whole nation is stupid. It's not the hockey fans who should move to Canada. It's the TEAMS that have to go to Canada! Or at least the northern regions of the United States.

Re: The NHL Thread
whoa easy there, im a cubs fan to heart.
i been to wrigley even on their losing seasons.
what i cant go watch my home ice hockey team cuz i feel like it be fun to watch?
now if i were like yeah lets go blackhawks they are great they are going all the way... then i'd be a fair weather fan to jump on the band wagon.
i really dont follow them at all and just want to go to a sporting event which i havent.
geesh no wonder hockey players get into fights on ice, so sensitive.

Re: The NHL Thread
I don't wanna talk about the Sabres. Their game against the Penguins last night was boring, plus they lost.
