Civilization 4
I searched, and didn't find a CIV IV thread, so I decided to make one. Hope I made it in the right area.
Soooo..... what is your highest score, your favorite winning strategy, tips, tricks etc?
Mine:
11722 - Winston Churchill, which I won by domination (game ended in 1620 AD). I can't remember the difficulty level, but I'm sure it wasn't that high.
How about you?

lol are you kidding me? It takes hours and hours of practice for the hand-eye coordination 
well first person shooters anyways. |

i dont remember my top score but it was with Napoleon and i won by domination pretty early. I got Knights early, a long time before anybody else, and theyre a very dominant offensive unit so i conquered a huge chunk of the main continent using them (i used catapults as my artillery). The next great unit is riflemen, and i used them to finish the game

I don't remember my high score...but I always play on the easy modes, just because I hate losing and I love winning. 
How can you play with anyone BUT Saladin !? That's just haram to play with Winston Churchill. It's like imitating the kufaar and stuff...  I'm going to allow Napoleon since he possibly converted to Islam.
Anyways, this is just a gripe....why does the future tech suck so bad on all civ games?! It feels like they just give up near the end...why not introduce special units like Mechs (i.e. Robots) and stuff? |

No, Winston Churchill is your competency score. You know, it gives you the final score, and then tells you what competency level you played at. So, Dan Quayle is the lowest, and Julius Caeser is at the to. Churchill is like #4 from the top, which means I did really well.
I can't remember which civ I was playing.
If you get bored playing Saladin, there is also Mansa Musa of the Mali empire.

Seems that Domination wins give the highest scores. I played the Muslim Japanese yesterday, and invaded Hindu India, kicked their butt, and got enough land area to get a domination victory. The domination win movie is pretty cool too!

I don't remember what my difficulty level was. I remember that the game ended pretty early (like 1400's) and that really contributes to the score.
I wish I was good enough at strategy to win by all out conquest (destroying all other civilizations) cuz I wanna see the movie for that one! |

You can see movies!? 
I always have to turn that off, because it kills my computer.
Also, you can easily see it. Just play on chieftain mode.  |
