yes, the ones apple approves of that you can only download from thier exclusive store, or ones that you have to hack your phone to be able to run, thereby voiding your warranty. sounds like a jolly good time

plus, i hate touch screen phones with a passion ( i love to text, touch makes it difficult). PLUS, i hate having things that everyone else has. i know a couple people with the pearl, and a couple people with the curve..but no one with the pink curve

Aight lemme start with Meraj. The one's in the app store are plenty. I don't need to bother with hacking it. Also the free ones are awesome alhamdulillah. You don't need a joystick, just move the phone to maneuver

Now the touch screen. Apples touch screen is different from all the rest. For one, it is a solid glass touch screen not the ones where it feels like a flexible thin sheet of plastic. Typing is actually very easy. I can type faster on it than a blackberry or any other PDA with very few mistakes, you just have to get used to it.

Also I'd have gotten a blackberry but I like the full internet on the iPhone better

I also have a book app. It's nice to have a library to carry around with ya when you're bored

i love how i can plan my schedule on the phone and can set it 5 or 10 minutes before to give me a reminder. the thing i hate about it is that it has only one alarm....unless i haven't figured out how to set more than one yet. that part really stinks. otherwise, i love it!

eh.. whatever. I wanted the iPhone but pearl was cheaper but still nice....it's better than that stupid old Razr so I'm happy. After owning a Razr it doesn't take much donchaknow

Ah ok. The 8110 model is cheaper. The 8120 model is the same price as the iphone @ $199.

so i have the N72 and i can only setup one alarm at a time..does anyone know how to setup more than one?

i'm debating between the lg rumor and blackberry pearl.

pearl's lack of a full keyboard isn't really an issue; my t9 skillz usually let me type faster than most people will full keyboards anyway...however, i'm told i should upgrade to one. meh.

thoughts on the two devices in general? they'd cost same amount for me ($50)

one big downside to the pearl is, like you said, the keyboard. but not for the obvious reason. whenever you have to type in a name that's not "translated" (like, 1-800-WACHOVIA) it's nearly impossible to do it on the pearl w/o another phone handy to remember what number corresponds to what letter.

do you know if it "learns" new words when they're typed enough?

dont get the lg farah. lg\s are horrible phones, and i can almost guarantee itll crap out on you. blackberrys on the other hand are smart phones. there are always firmware upgrades and such for them, and you can do SO much more with it.
