stocks went down when it was announced.. hhmmmm....

the problem is that most people that wanted it, already got it. so its not gunna make as big a killing as everyone thinks. you cant walk around campus without seeing a billion people with this phone already...

supposedly the new one that they released the other day, that they said is cheaper... is actually more expensive..

i dont think apple/iphone will be a major competition, problem for rim/blackberry. the iphone seems like that fancy new gaget that is a must have...kinda like the ipod... whereas the blackberry targets the 40somethings business people. not saying that others dont use it either.

people will still buy them.. ill still get one. (cause i had to wait till it came out here..

) unless jim balsillie buys the preds and moves them to hamilton or k-w.

Its $199 bucks vs. the first gen. iphone's $399. The new iphone is practically a mini computer where it can access Microsoft office files as well as multiple other PC quality games, not to mention the built in GPS technology with Google Maps. I think this is gonna own the market in July...

I can't sync my phone with other phones. I don't know my Bluetooth password. I tried all of the generic codes I know and called Verizon and they said that they couldn't really help. WTF?

there was an article on yahoo yesterday titled "half the price, actually costs more" re; new iphone, i didnt get a chance to read it .. ill try and look for it.

Once i tried sending my sis a ringtone through bluetooth and it wouldn't work. I was told that verizon only connects to verizon phones and since I have t-mobile it wouldn't work.

I think they meant the service plan. It's a 3G plan so it naturally costs more. The main thing is that it's still cheaper and better than it's competitors so I don't see anyone complaining. No idea what the plan costs though

I was trying to connect to a TMobile phone, but my sister's friend has a Verizon phone and she was able to connect to someone that had an old school Cingular phone. Weird, but thanks for the head's up
