AAAARRRRGGGGGG!!!!! i was all prepared to get the username i wanted as soon as they opened up username reservations, and then my internet goes down. it just came up an hour after facebook opened up reservations, and someone already took the name i wanted. dammit.

I think this username is a good idea. Instead of telling someone "if you want to find me on facebook, go to this network and search my name, and my profile picture is this", you can now say "you can find me at www.facebook.com/username"

i think it's kinda silly, but at least now the question "what's your facebook?" makes more sense.

'cause before when people would ask me, i'd be thinking "you mean what's my full name?"
