Chow down the free candy and say Bismillah...
I wasn't even talking about Trick or Treating. I was talking about Halloween parties and all. Oh yea btw in New Jersey there has been thousands and thousands of tampered candies including the peanut M&Ms with potentially harmful pellets.

Handing out pamphlets to people who are bugging her about not going trick or treating (as she posted she was doing) in order to explain her position is hardly getting on someone's case.

Also, the fact that some Muslims don't know the basics or that some Muslims are starving doesn't invalidate enjoining good and forbidding bad (with proper adab, of course).

When the Jehovahs or other Christian types offer me Pamphlets on Eid saying how evil Muslims are doesn't really enhance my Eid experience.

Its the same for those that celebrate Halloween, they don't want to be hassled by people with pamphlets.

Abu Hazim replied, “Because you have built and established this world and you have destroyed your Aakhirah, so you hate to go from what you have established to what you have destroyed.”

Here's an edited answer straight from FB:

Quote:
Privacy | Facebook

How do I restrict specific content from specific people?

Controlling the visibility of content on an individual basis is easy on Facebook. First, go to the Profile section of the Privacy page. Second, click the drop-down next to the setting that controls the content you want to restrict and select "Customize." You will then see a pop-up that contains the section "Except These People." Type the name of the friend into the box and click enter. The friend will now be unable to view the content in question.

When you are creating content, you can also set the privacy settings for the specific piece of content. For example, if you are uploading a new photo album, you can control the privacy settings for the album on the first step of the album creation process.

It's funny how I can't add my own uncle on Facebook. Not 'cause I have anything to hide, but 'cause SPICE apparently does.
