Do tell. What was your rationale behind the move?

Well for personal and privacy reasons I always had my pictures on private for certain friends only, even when I had guys on my facebook list.
So there was this girl on my husband's facebook who would always make flirty comments on his wall, send him msgs etc. She (and her sister) are both overly annoying and obsessive when it comes to my husband (even my brother in law noticed this) so I asked the hubby to delete them both. He said he couldn't because they've all been friends for a long long time and it would look bad (which I agreed with) so I said 'fine, delete all the girls off your facebook and I'll delete all the guys off mine.'
It wasn't too hard for me because most of the guys on my list were either Islamicans or from study groups/classes that I never really spoke to outside of class....basically people i didnt really know. I kept all my guy cousins and brother in law on there though.

we didn't... i actually kind of stole all of his friends..
but it doesn't really matter for us... almost 95% of the people on our friends lists are limited anyway. and we don't really put pictures up much either. and i handle the flirty "sisters" in a different way. i add them to my friends list and then i write on their walls and introduce myself. they usually get the message after that. otherwise i'll leave a really gay sappy lovey dovey message on the husband's wall for everyone to see
generally though we don't have any problems because i'm cool with his guy friends and he's cool with my girl friends. and everyone knows each other and their limits alhamdulillah.

lol, that's cute! I like your method of dealing with the flirty girls . I added the problem person to my list too but that was around the same time we agreed to delete ppl of the opposite gender....then she began emailing him ( ). Soon after he got sick of facebook and got rid of it altogether .

Re: Facebook Thread
I can't see my notifications anymore. I'm worried FB is preparing for the massive restyle that is scheduled for sometime this month.
