I don't know why people complain about it. I've never even used it. Why not just use AIM?

No I just hate that it's on my screen...it's just staring at me every time I log in

I use msn/yahoo for chatting.

Maybe it's not so bad for me since I only have like five friends. But I don't even notice it, it's tucked away in the corner and all out of the way.

If you had more friends I could see that equaling more notifications which would mean more pop-ups, which could get irritating fast.

yea, so i finally opened an account couple of weeks back

i went to "add new friends" group to get random people on the list...you know how people wouldn't add you if you have 0 friends.. it's too freaky...
now i have 20 friends, 2 of whom I actually know. One from a forum, the other a friend from college. it's good to have those 20 people so I look "normal" ... now, with several friends under my belt, i can start finding other real friends...and impress them with my friend's list

another problem that has come up is lack of poking and wall postings... i need to do something about that ..

this whole damn thing was suppose to be "fun" but it's adding more stress.

and make sure to set your privacy settings........I need to get mine fixed as well

(newser) – A humanitarian group is using Facebook to search for two war criminals involved with genocide in Darfur, the BBC reports. The War Crimes Watch List issued an open call on the social network for sightings of Ahmed Haroun and Ali Muhammad Ali Abd al-Rahman, who face 51 counts of crimes against humanity for allegedly planning atrocities by Janjaweed militias.

So, a while back I posted about a random guy trying to add me on Facebook. Despite his persistence, I got rid of him, but I did have to be quite rude to achieve the intended effect.

Turns out, I was right to be suspicious of my mom during her time in Pakistan. She had told him to add me, since he's apparently a "prospect". Oooops.

I think a few ex-islamicans came up with that one

and I agree completely, poking non-mehrams is not halal.
