Salaam Aleikum.
I just got a ipod nano 3g(3rd generation) yesterday, alhamdulillah.
Does anyone have any tips on usage? For example, if it's exposed in extreme cold weather,will is still work,etc?

Also, as far as battery usage goes, should I charge it even if I've used up 50% of the battery or should I wait until it comes to the very end to re-charge it?

don't worry so much about it. Though honestly I would have gotten a different brand as I am not a fan of Apple.

I don't like Apple either; especially the prices, but it has some kewl features on it...podcasts are really great.
I can get Islamic lectures for free through podcast, alhamdulillah.
