Treat it like you would treat a woman.
Flush it down, and if it comes back, then pick it. cuz its probably a keeper.

I'm sorry. 
You can dump me in a toilet bowl if it makes you feel any better ... but the toilet's probably cleaner than I am ... I've been sick for the entire week and haven't taken any showers. Which is actually.... what I normally do anyway so I guess its not all that different. |

this thread has my name on it. One of my phones once got unclipped from the holster and fell towards the seat. Everything went in slow motion as my phone made that perilous jump backwards. Luckily, my phone dunking stills are just as bad as my basketball shots, so it was a brick, and the phone bounced right off to the side.
the other time, a friend and I were on a kayak (and we'd never kayaked before), and were pretty unstable on the water. inevitably, we took a dunk in. once we thought we got the hang of it, we took yet another dunk and in the end, had to drive with our car seats lined with newspaper because we were so wet.
My phone (which had a partial case on it) started acting weird after that one. I took out the battery and put it and the phone by the kitchen window in direct, autumn sunlight over a day or two. once I popped it back in, the phone worked just like new.

what I'm hearing is that the phone fell out of your pocket, started going toward the ground, then paused in mid-air mind you, and then took a right turn to finally end up in the toilet. THAT, is one magic cell phone!
