I think it's something to do with the settings- when using the internet on this laptop some images come up extremely pixelly, for example, all Islamica smileys. And some websites, where the background is supposed to be white, it comes up red.

Is there a possible way that I can download Youtube or Google videos to my laptop and then transfer them to my cell phone?

I've already downloaded them to my laptop, but I'm using a FLV player and I don't think that format will work on my cell.

you would have to download the .flv file from youtube or google video using Video Downloader (there is plugin extension for firefox for that) and then convert the .flv into an .avi or .mpg or .mp4 and then upload it to your cell phone either through a USB or bluetooth. you would have to also check your phone's memory too and compare it to the video file size.

Another thing, is there a possible way that I could only cut the audio from a Youtube Video and make into a MP3 file? And how do I cut a MP3 file? [For example, there is a specific verse I want from the Quran that is playing, or a specific part of the lecture, etc]

I downloaded a program called Audacity. Basically, what you do is, when you play the Youtube video, press 'record' on Audacity and change it to 'Waveout Mix' on the right in the drop-down menu. It will record whatever is playing. But make sure everything else that makes a sound on your PC is switched off. And then you just save it as an MP3 file. The quality is pretty much the same. [I.E- Its good]. You can also cut and edit it once you've saved it. Or you could just record a clip.

Try to right click on your desktop and go to properties. Then to Appearance and put everything back to default. I.E. If you are using XP then change the style to Windows XP style, then default blue for the next and for the next use normal text.

Also if the text is still large, try to go to Settings which is right next to appearance and click on advanced. Then make sure the DPI setting is set to normal.

Sorry, that's all i can think of.

i downloaded it but i dont see where it says wave out mix :s. heres a pic of what ive got
the drop down list there says microphone and stereo mix.

or did you download the beta version?

It should say Wave-Out mix. Mine does. I've downloaded Audacity version 1.2.6. Audacity - Reviews and free downloads at Download.com

Anyway, I need technical help again. I'm fairly new to the whole FTP client thing. I wanted to upload a plugin into a blog, and I can't figure out how to do that. I downloaded Filezilla and it asks me for a Username and Password. Where do I get the username and password from?
