the Google World Domination thread
Google: sooo good yet probably evil.
Google's newest service: Goog-411 i tried it today. it's pretty good. it's automated so next step: have my FOB brother test it out by calling for a Volkswagen dealership in Wheaton, IL  1-800-GOOG-411

I just checked out my apt building on google maps "street view" which was pretty neat. Apparently google is driving around major cities with a bunch of cameras attached to the roof of the car.
You can see random people walking around but their faces are blurry either intentionally or unintentionally. You can definitely read license plate #'s though. I wonder if they're planning on having street view available for the entire u.s. eventually.
