Salaams,

Alright, so I'm down to my last 1.50GB from a total of 55GB on my laptop.

I need space and TONS of it, immediately, because I've a lot of files, graphics, videos, Macromedia and Adobe products and they keep growing everyday.

I've deleted A LOT of unnecessary stuff from my laptop, but like I said, my collection keeps growing.

So what do I do? Do I need to buy a new and bigger memory? And if I do, will all of my stuff be on it once its installed? Do I buy it from a store or from the company I bought my laptop from?

As you can tell, I'm not very good at understanding the intricacies of a computer.


If someone can help me, I would really be thankful - and shower you with reps!

you might not want to get a new internal hd, but just get a usb external hd. here's a decent deal, its a ton of memory but you can look and find some smaller external hd's on that website. no need for reps though, inshallah it'll help though.

laptops are renowned for having very little RAM. I'd recommend what yousuf said, an external hard drive is one of the best inventions and in a lot of cases it's very portable. Being a hoarder, i am naturally inclined to thinking it's amazing.
