By Allah, Allah has more joy due to the repentance of His servant than one of you has when he finds his lost provisions in an open land. [Muslim]

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Allah is in the assistance of His servant as long as His servant is in the assistance of others.”

Anas ibn Malik narrated, 'A bondsman can reach the very highest rank in Heaven through his good character, without being a man of much worship, and can reach the lowest region of the Inferno through his bad character, even though he should worship abundantly'.

Allah said: "Whoever comes close to Me by the span of a hand, I come closer to Him by a cubit. And whoever comes closer to Me by a cubit, I come closer to him by an arms length. And if he walks toward Me, I rush toward him. [Muslim]

Ibn Masud:

"A believer sees his sins as if he were sitting under a mountain which he is afraid may fall on him, whereas the wicked person considers his sins as flies passing over his nose and he just drives them away like this (and he moved his hand over his nose in illustration)."

"Faith wears out in the heart of anyone of you just as clothes wear out, so ask Allah to renew the faith in your heart." [Tabarani]

"When a man asked the prophet, may God's peace and blessings be upon him, "O Messenger of God, when will the Day of Judgement be?"
The Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) replied, "What have you prepared for it?"
He said, "I have not prepared for it a great deal of prayer, fasting nor charity, but I love God and His Messenger intensely,"
The Prophet (sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) said, "You will be with those whom you love."

Imam Ahmad recorded that Anas bin Malik, may Allah be pleased with him, said, "I heard the Messenger of Allah , say:

«وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَوْ أَخْطَأْتُمْ حَتْى تَمْلَأَ خَطَايَاكُمْ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ، ثُمَّ اسْتَغْفَرْتُمُ اللهَ تَعَالَى لَغَفَرَ لَكُمْ، وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍبِيَدِهِ لَوْ لَمْ تُخْطِئُوا لَجَاءَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ بِقَوْمٍ يُخْطِئُونَ، ثُمَّ يَسْتَغْفِرُونَ اللهَ فَيَغْفِرُ لَهُم»

(By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, if you were to commit sin until your sins filled the space between heaven and earth, then you were to ask Allah for forgiveness, He would forgive you.
By the One in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, if you did not commit sin, Allah would bring other people who would commit sins and then ask Allah for forgiveness so that He could forgive them.)''

"Aisha rA, that she said: "O messenger of Allah! What if I knew which night lailatul qadr was, then what should I say in it?" He (SAW) said, say

"Allahuma innaka affuwun tuhibbul fwa fa'fu anni"

(O Allah you are the one who pardons greatly, and loves to pardon so pardon me). "

Angel Jibril (as) prayed, 'Cursed be the man who finds the month Ramadan and fails to attain the forgiveness of his Lord.' The Prophet (saw) concurred by saying 'Ameen.'

The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) once asked his companions, "Do you know what will cause you to have high walled palaces in Paradise (as a symbol of great reward) and will cause you to be raised by God?" When they replied in the negative, he said,

"To be forgiving and to control yourself in the face of provocation, to give justice to the person who was unfair and unjust to you, to give to someone even though he did not give to you when you were in need and to keep connection with someone who may not have reciprocated your concern."
