Re: Hadith of the day
For any trouble, illness, worry, grief, hurt or sorrow which afflicts a Muslim, even the pricking of a thorn, Allah (subhana wa ta ala) removes in its stead some of his sins.

Hadith Qudsi - Must Read
Hadith Qudsi 17
O My servants, I have forbidden oppression for Myself and have made it forbidden amongst you, so do not oppress one another. O My servants, all of you are astray except for those I have guided, so seek guidance of Me and I shall guide you, O My servants, all of you are hungry except for those I have fed, so seek food of Me and I shall feed you. O My servants, all of you are naked except for those I have clothed, so seek clothing of Me and I shall clothe you. O My servants, you sin by night and by day, and I forgive all sins, so seek forgiveness of Me and I shall forgive you. O My servants, you will not attain harming Me so as to harm Me, and will not attain benefitting Me so as to benefit Me. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as pious as the most pious heart of any one man of you, that would not increase My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to be as wicked as the most wicked heart of any one man of you, that would not decrease My kingdom in anything. O My servants, were the first of you and the last of you, the human of you and the jinn of you to rise up in one place and make a request of Me, and were I to give everyone what he requested, that would not decrease what I have, any more that a needle decreases the sea if put into it. O My servants, it is but your deeds that I reckon up for you and then recompense you for, so let him finds good praise Allah and let him who finds other that blame no one but himself.
Meanings :
• Oppression = the exercise of authority or power in a burdensome, cruel,or unjust manner
• Wicked = evil or morally bad in principle or practice(Sinful)

Hadith - Moderate
Sahih Muslim Hadith
Hadith 1883 Narrated by
Jabir ibn Samurah
I used to pray with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and both his prayer and sermon were of moderate length.
Sunan of Abu-Dawood
Hadith 4990 Narrated by
Amr ibn al-'As
One day when a man got up and spoke at length Amr ibn al-'As said If he had been moderate in what he said: It would have been better for him. I heard the Apostle of Allah (peace be upon him) say: I think (or, I have been commanded) that I should be brief in what I say, for brevity is better.
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith
Hadith 8.470 Narrated by
Abu Huraira
Allah's Apostle said, "The deeds of anyone of you will not save you (from the (Hell) Fire)." They said, "Even you (will not be saved by your deeds), O Allah's Apostle?" He said, "No, even I (will not be saved) unless and until Allah bestows His Mercy on me. Therefore, do good deeds properly, sincerely and moderately, and worship Allah in the forenoon and in the afternoon and during a part of the night, and always adopt a middle, moderate, regular course whereby you will reach your target (Paradise)."
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith
Hadith 7.577 Narrated by
Abu Huraira
I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "The good deeds of any person will not make him enter Paradise." (i.e., None can enter Paradise through his good deeds.) They (the Prophet's companions) said, "Not even you, O Allah's Apostle?" He said, "Not even myself, unless Allah bestows His favor and mercy on me." So be moderate in your religious deeds and do the deeds that are within your ability: and none of you should wish for death, for if he is a good doer, he may increase his good deeds, and if he is an evil doer, he may repent to Allah."
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith
Hadith 5.697 Narrated by
Hishams father
In my presence, Usama was asked about the speed of the Prophet during his Hajj. He replied, "It was Al-'Anaq (i.e. moderate easy speed) and if he encountered an open space, he used to increase his speed."
Sahih Muslim Hadith
Hadith 6243 Narrated by
AbuHurayrah
When this verse was revealed: "Whoever does evil will be required for it" (iv.122), and when this was conveyed to the Muslims they were greatly perturbed. Thereupon Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said: Be moderate and stand firm in trouble that falls to the lot of a Muslim (as that) is an expiation for him; even stumbling on the path or the pricking of a thorn (are an expiation for him).

Spend
Sahih Muslim Hadith
Hadith 2256 Narrated by
AbuUmamah
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) said: O son of Adam, it is better for you if you spend your surplus (wealth), but if you withhold it, it is evil for you. There is (however) no reproach for you (if you withhold means necessary) for a living. And begin (charity) with your dependants; and the upper hand is better than the lower hand.

Dua

Umm Salamah

Al-Tirmidhi Hadith
Hadith 102 Narrated by
Anas ibn Malik
Allah's Messenger (peace be upon him) used to say quite frequently: O Turner of the heart, keep me steadfast in your religion. I said: Allah's Apostle, we do affirm faith in you and in that which you have been sent with. (Despite this) you entertain fear about us. Whereupon he said: Yes. Verily the hearts are between two Fingers from the Fingers of Allah and He turns them as He likes.

Re: Hadith of the day
Sahih Al-Bukhari Hadith
Hadith 7.494B Narrated by
Abu Amir or Abu Malik Al Ashari
that he heard the Prophet saying, "From among my followers there will be some people who will consider illegal sexual intercourse, the wearing of silk, the drinking of alcoholic drinks and the use of musical instruments, as lawful. And there will be some people who will stay near the side of a mountain and in the evening their shepherd will come to them with their sheep and ask them for something, but they will say to him, 'Return to us tomorrow.' Allah will destroy them during the night and will let the mountain fall on them, and He will transform the rest of them into monkeys and pigs and they will remain so till the Day of Resurrection."

Respect Allah
Al-Tirmidhi Hadith
Hadith 1608 Narrated by
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud
Ibn Mas'ud told of the Prophet (peace be upon him) saying to his companions one day, "Show due respect towards Allah." On their replying, "Prophet of Allah, we show due respect towards Allah, praise be to Allah," he said, "That is not what I mean; but he who shows due respect to Allah must guard the head and what it retains, must guard the belly and what it contains, and keep death and decay in remembrance; and he who desires the next world must abandon the adornment of this world. He who does that has shown due respect towards Allah."
Ahmad and Tirmidhi transmitted it, the latter saying this is a gharib tradition.
