It is related from sayyidina Abu Hurayra that the Messenger of Allah, sallAllahu `alayhi wasallam (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), said, "When Allah finished creation, He wrote in a book which is with Him above the Throne, 'My mercy predominates over My wrath.'"

Bismillah

This may have been posted before:

"One learned man is harder on the Devil than a thousand ignorant worshippers"

I've always loved it but I can't find any authenticity for it. Has it been found to be sahih? Is it in Al-Bukhari or Muslim (I'd like to read the Arabic).

The Holy Prophet (may the blessings and peace of Allah
be upon him) said:

That who enjoins the asking of forgiveness, then Allah
will make for him a way out of every distress, and a
relief of every worry, and He provides him with
sustenance from where he does not consider. This was
narrated by Abu Dawud, and the son of Maja from the
son of Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him).

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"Allah (subhana wa ta'ala) will say on the Day of Resurrection:

‘Where are those who love one another through My glory? Today I shall give them shade in My shade, it being a day when there is no shade but My shade.’"

It was related by al-Bukhari (also by Malik).

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:

"Allah (mighty and sublime be He) said:

‘Whosoever shows enmity to someone devoted to Me, I shall be at war with him. My servant draws not near to Me with anything more loved by Me than the religious duties I have enjoined upon him, and My servant continues to draw near to Me with supererogatory works so that I shall love him. When I love him I am his hearing with which he hears, his seeing with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask [something] of Me, I would surely give it to him, and were he to ask Me for refuge, I would surely grant him it. I do not hesitate about anything as much as I hesitate about [seizing] the soul of My faithful servant: he hates death and I hate hurting him.’"

The Prophet (SAW) related that Allah (SWT) said: "When I have taken away from someone, a most beloved one, and then he(patiently) expects a reward (from Me), I will compensate him with Paradise." [Bukhari]

“It is reported in the Sunan of Abu Dawud and Ibn Majah from Asmaa’ bint ‘Umays (radhiya Allahu ‘anhaa) that she said, ‘Rasulullah (’Sallallahu ‘alayhi wa ‘alaa aalihi wa sallam) said to me,

”Shall I teach you some words that you should say at the time of كرب Karb or in Karb (heartache, distress, gloom)?
Say: “Allahu Allahu Rabbi Laa Ushriku Bihi Shay’a”

Ibne Abbas Radiallahu anhu narrates that the Holy Prophet sallAllahu alayhi wasallam said: "Allah Ta'ala will record an accepted Hajj in favour of a pious child that casts an affectionate glance upon his parents, for every glance he casts upon them." The companions asked: "Even if he casts a hundred glances every day?" He said: "Yes. Allah is much greater (than you imagine) and pure (Of all defects such as miserliness)."

Sayyidna Ali (ra) reported Allah’s Messenger (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) as saying, “A time is soon coming to mankind when nothing of Islam but its name will remain and only the written form of the Qur’an will remain. Their mosques will be in fine condition but will be devoid of guidance, their learned men will be the worst people under heaven, corruption coming forth from them and returning among them.”
[Bayhaqi]

Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (sallAllahu alayhi wasallam) said:
"The most hated person in the sight of Allah (jalla jalaalahu) is the argumentative/quarrelsome person."

Sahih Al-Bukhari Narrated by Ummi Aisha (radiyAllahu anha)
