The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Do not view any good act as insignificant, even the act of meeting your brother with a cheerful face.” [Muslim]

Re: Hadith of the day
[Sahih Muslim : Book 35, Book Name Kitab Al-Dhikr, Number 6595]
Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allah Anhu): Allah's Apostle (sal-allahu- alleihi-wasallam ) as saying:
"The supplication of the servant is granted in case he does not supplicate for sin or for severing the ties of blood, or he does not become impatient. It was said: Allah's Messenger, what does:" If he does not grow impatient" imply? He said: That he should say like this: I supplicated and I supplicated but I did not find it being responded. and theu he becomes frustrated and abandons supplication. "

Re: Hadith of the day
Translation of Sahih Bukhari, Book 2:
Volume 1, Book 2, Number 33:
Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr:
The Prophet said, "Whoever has the following four (characteristics) will be a pure hypocrite and whoever has one of the following four characteristics will have one characteristic of hypocrisy unless and until he gives it up.
1. Whenever he is entrusted, he betrays.
2. Whenever he speaks, he tells a lie.
3. Whenever he makes a covenant, he proves treacherous.
4. Whenever he quarrels, he behaves in a very imprudent, evil and insulting manner."

Re: Hadith of the day
“During the lifetime of the Prophet (’alayhis salam) there was a man called Abdullah who was nicknamed [by the people] Himar (donkey). This man used to make the Prophet Muhammad (sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) laugh. The Prophet Muhammad (sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) ordered that this man be lashed for drinking alcohol [often]. One day he was brought to the Prophet Muhammad (’alayhis salam) on the charge of drinking alcohol [again] and was lashed. On that, a man from the people said: “Oh Allah ! Curse him! How frequently this man is brought [to be punished for drunkenness]!” To which Rasulullah (sallAllahu alaihi wasallam) said:
لا تلعنوه فوالله ما علمت أنه يحب الله ورسوله
“Do not curse him! For I swear by Allah I only know [of him] that he loves Allah and His Messenger!”
- Bukhari 6780, in the chapter of Hudud

Re: Hadith of the day
"Purity is half of faith. alhamdu-lillah [Praise be to Allah] fills the scales, and subhana-Allah [How far is Allah from every imperfection] and alhamdu-lillah [Praise be to Allah] fill that which is between heaven and earth. Prayer is light; charity is a proof; patience is illumination; and the Quran is an argument for or against you. Everyone starts his day and is a vendor of his soul, either freeing it or bringing about its ruin."
Muslim

Re: Hadith of the day
Abdullah ibn Mas'ud reports: The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) asked me to recite the Qur'an.
I said: "Should I recite to you whereas it has been sent down to you?"
He said: "I desire to hear it from someone else."
So I recited Surat an-Nisa till I reached the ayat: "How will it be, then, when We bring from every people a witness and bring you (O Muhammad) as a witness against these?"
He told me "Stop!" I stopped and lifted my head and saw his tears falling (from his sallAllahu `alaihi wasallam blessed eyes).

Re: Hadith of the day
It is narrated from Hudhayfa (ra) that he said: Allah's Messenger said: "Do not be conformers who say: `If people do good we shall do good, and if they do wrong we shall do wrong.' Rather, make yourselves ready to do good if people do good, and, if they do wrong, not to do wrong."
Al-Tirmidhi narrated it and declared it hasan, as stated in al-Targhib and elsewhere.

Re: Hadith of the day
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: “I know of a people from within my Ummah who will come on the Day of Resurrection with good deeds like the Tihama Mountains in quantity, pure and white. Allah will make those deeds like dust scattering in the wind.”
Thawban then said: “O Messenger of Allah! Describe them to us. Make them known to us so that we will not be of them without realizing it.”
He said: “They are your brethren and your countrymen. They take from their nights (for prayer) as you do. However, they are people who when they are alone with the limits of Allah, they violate them.” [ Sunan Ibn Mâjah (4235) – authenticated by al-Bûsîrî]

Re: Hadith of the day
Hadhrat A'ishah (ra) narrated:"Once, when I saw the Prophet (sallAllahu `alayhi wasallam) in a good mood, I said to him: "O Messenger of Allah! Supplicate to Allah for me!"
So, he (sallAllahu `alayhi wasallam) said: "O Allah! Forgive 'A'ishah her past and future sins, what she has hidden, as well as what she has made apparent."
So, I began smiling, to the point that my head fell into my lap out of joy.
The Messenger of Allah (sallAllahu `alayhi wasallam) said to me: "Does my supplication make you happy?"
I replied: "And how can your supplication not make me happy?"
He (sallAllahu `alayhi wasallam) then said: "By Allah, it is the supplication that I make for my Ummah in every prayer."
