Islamic websites..
Asalamualykum all
 I know a person [over the net] interested in Islam.. I've told him the basics, but does any of you know good websites that i could give him to look at? non sectarian ... I could google it.. but wanted to see what you islamicans have  Jazaks..

Islam - The Modern Religion..Click the Moon to step inside... My personal favorite, especially the lengthy section on Women in Islam and Animals. ^^ Very interesting! And for the young un's, there's Islamic Kids. Has the basics and is also mind-meltingly cute. http://islamickids.tripod.com/

It's not a website but rather a book...although the title always bothers me.
Idiot's Guide to Understanding Islam by Yahya Emerick It's actually good ma sha ALLAH. My mom was given it as a gift after she made shahada. I read some parts of it and actually learned a whole bunch of neat facts of our deen.
