Harun Yahya says he is a Sunni and follows the Sunnah (authentic hadeeths)
As-Salam Alaykum.
Bismillah.
This is just a clarification on Harun Yahya, since the topic came up in another thread.
He is not a Quran-only person. Please read this on his website:
THE IMPORTANCE OF THE AHL AL-SUNNAH - Harun Yahya
This is an entire book by Harun Yahya on the topic of being a part of Ahl as-sunnah, and following the Sunnah.
Fi Aman Allah.

Re: Harun Yahya says he is a Sunni and follows the Sunnah (authentic hadeeths)
Over 95% of Harun Yahya's work are based on the Qur'an only, ie. he rarely ever quotes anything other than Verses of the Qur'an, and on that token his work deserves credit. Him being a "Qur'an-only" person or not doesn't reduce the Qur'anic value of almost all of his work.

Bismillah.
Please read his book.
The words of his very own book refute your claims about him. He himself wrote a whole book on the importance of adhering to the hadeeth.

That's one whole book compared to dozens of other whole books he has written based solely on the Qur'an. If you pick up any of his books and look for Hadith / scholars' words in the pages, chances are you'll find references to Verses of the Qur'an.

Yes, but he wrote a WHOLE BOOK refuting you. It's not just a book about the hadeeths. No, it's a book REFUTING Quran-only people. Read the chapter I just posted.
And this actually disproves your claim that Sunnis only talk about hadeeths. Harun Yahya is very clear in that he is a Sunni (a member of Ahl as-Sunnah) and yet he talked about Quran so much that you actually thought he was a Quran-only person.

Re: Harun Yahya says he is a Sunni and follows the Sunnah (authentic hadeeths)
Sunnis were so disappointed with Harun Yahya referring to so much Qur'an and so little Hadith that some of them started calling him a deviant. Harun Yahya's emphasis on the Qur'an is rare to find in Sunnis who are engrossed in Hadith.

Bismillah.
Now you are just lying.
Please point to a single Sunni scholar condemning Harun Yahya for referring to the Quran so much and the hadeeth so little. Please post a single statement from a single Sunni scholar.
The reason that Harun Yahya has been condemned is because of his belief that Allah [swt] is everywhere, which is considered kufr. I can back this up with statements of the scholars, so let us see if you can back up what you just said.
Fi Aman Allah.

We are talking about Sunnis, not only Sunni 'scholars' in particular.

Re: Harun Yahya says he is a Sunni and follows the Sunnah (authentic hadeeths)
Can you point me to a single Sunni scholar, other than Harun Yahya himself, who has in the absence of Hadith placed the same level of emphasis on quoting Verses of the Qur'an?

Harun Yahya writes "in the absence of hadith" (actually, this is a fallacious claim) because his work is dawah through discussing miracles of the Qur'an specifically. The point you're trying to make is nonsensical at best; it's like jumping to the conclusion that a scholar of aqeedah doesn't believe in following a madhab of fiqh because he never discusses fiqh.
I've never met a single Sunni who claimed that Harun Yahya was a "deviant" because he writes about the Qur'an. Most Muslims in this world aren't aware that hadith rejectors even exist.
Harun Yahya - Hadith Corner
Only a hopelessly irrational mindset would lead one to believe that Qur'an and hadith are mutually exclusive.
Finally, trying to use the statement "some say.." in an attempt at bolstering any argument is really absurd.

So there isn't a single other Sunni scholar like Harun Yahya?
Thought so.

Harun Yahya does a lot more than only discuss the 'miracles of the Qur'an'. You have obviously not even read or seen his work, which is what makes you think a little 'Hadith Corner' in a page on his website represents the overwhelming majority of his other work.
Here is a page which shows the variety of books by Harun Yahya:
