The only 'famous' individual who has impressed me by their direct study and insight into the Qur'an is Harun Yahya. Most of his work on the Qur'an is not influenced by Hadith and this is extremely rare to find in Sunni scholars today.

So basically there exists no scholar aside from Haroon Yahya who has impressed you with his works?

And yet, he follows hadeeths. Al-Hamdu Lillah.

This refutes numerous arguments made by yourself. It proves that someone can follow hadeeths and still focus on the Quran. By the way, if you had taken this position (instead of rejecting hadeeths altogether), then we would have no issue with you, nor would we have said you are outside the folds of Islam, etc. So why not become like Haroon Yahya and just focus more on Quran and less on hadeeths, without rejecting hadeeths altogether?

I appreciate Harun Yahya's Qur'anic work but I don't agree with his interpretation about following 'Sunnah', just like you don't agree with his interpretation about Allah's presence being 'everywhere'. Being "Qur'an-only" is not only about more focus or less focus on the Qur'an, it's about realising the unique authority of the Qur'an as the only Revealed Book Muslims are supposed to follow, such that words in the Hadith are not revelation to the Prophet ('wahi') like Sunnis believe.

And as Harun Yahya believes.

Anyways, Ameen, I have found you to be dishonest.

You could have been honest and admitted that this comes as a big blow to your arguments made in the past, and we would at least have said that you were man about it. But instead, you decided to use deceptive arguments and spin.

Fi Aman Allah.

So the only scholar of the Qur'an you can name that you admire is a Sunni who considers those who reject the sunnah to be disbelievers of hellfire? This discussion is growing increasingly comical.

How many Sunni scholars' works have you studied, btw? Can you name a couple?

Also, like I said, at least one of the following must be true:

1. Harun Yahya's interpretation of the Qur'an leads him to believe the Sunnah/hadith are necessary.

2. Harun Yahya's interpretation of the Qur'an is influenced by the hadith.

You ignored this, since the implications on the rest of his work are obvious.

Yes, I would like to know this too. Ameen, can you name the works of scholars you have read? Please cite the books that you have read from Muslim scholars.

How many books from Muslim scholars have you read? Would this number be even ten?

If it is less than ten, then are you judging all of Sunnism by reading 10 books?
