Dreams Of the Mujahideen.
Quote:
Sahih Muslim Book 029, Number 5621:
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (may peace be upon him) as saying: When the time draws near (when the Resurrection is near) a believer’s dream can hardly be false. And the truest vision will be of one who is himself the most truthful in speech, for the vision of a Muslim is the forty-fifth part of Prophecy……
Here is an excerpt from an interview of Qari Badr-uz-Zaman Badr (who spent three years in prison and was recently released from
Guantanamo). It was aired on ARYONE in a program called ‘views on news’ in May 25 2005. It is in Urdu but a brother translated it to English. THE TRANSLATION:
“We were busy in continuous worship and people (of Guantanamo) were close to ALLAH(SWT).Many people dreamt of the Prophet(saw) with glad tidings that freedom is nigh.
And Prophet Eesa(as) came and said that those who call themselves ‘nasraani’ [Christians], those people are not on the correct path and are astray and will be destroyed.
A Mujahid told me that he was asleep in Bagram during intense winter. Easa(as) came in his dream with the Quraan in one hand and the Injeel [Bible] in the
other. The mujahid said he wanted to embrace Easa(as) and kiss him. But Prophet Eesa(as) stepped back. Someone announced this is a Mujahid from
Cuba,
Guantanamo. So Easa(as) shook my hand and he kissed me on my forehead. He took my hand in his and said to me do not worry for freedom is very
close and the ‘nasraani’s’ will be destroyed. AND THAT I AM COMING.
He(mujahid) says when my hand was shaken I woke up. It was not warm but the mujahid was perspiring…”
“Then an Arab mujahid dreamt of Prophet Muhammad(saw) and the Prophet(saw) told him you are ‘ahl al-badr’ [the people of Badr]. So the mujahid said the people of Badr have passed away…So the Prophet(saw) said ‘antum min ahl al-badr at-thani’ [You are the second people of Badr] and that your status is not much less than that of the people of Badr”.

Quite nice.

Wow, such a nice dream.
May Allah(SWT) free them and grant them victory and may He(SWT) make us among them. Ameen.

Re: Dreams Of the Mujahideen.
As-Salaamu 'Alaykum,
SubHana-Allaah. I used to read 'Abdullah Azzams stories and be amazed by what he and the other Mujahideen experienced in Afghanistan. I then read about Ibn-Ul-Khattab and saw how they were blessed in Chechnya, Masha-Allaah (May Allaah raise their status on Yawmul Qiyaamah). Now, hearing all the stories pouring out of Gitmo and Afghanistan/Pakistan, SubHana-Allaah, just really affirms your faith. Think about it, this is all occuring during OUR time, it is not like reading the 'Stories of the Sahabah' or 'Stories from the Qur'an. 'Most of us remember when Khattab's soul was taken but to actually know that even now, there are Mujahideen who truly get to see the miracles of Allaah. SubHana-Allaah. Truly amazing.
Baraka-Allaahu Feek Akh.

Re: Dreams Of the Mujahideen.
Wallahi, people of the future will look back at these men (and their leaders) the same way we look back at the likes of Abdullah Ibn Mubarak, Muzaffar Qutuz Salah ad-Deen etc.
Think about it, they are men who, despite their inferiority in number, weapons and support took on a world filled with Kufr. People say they wish we had our own Salah ad-Deen so he would bring back Islams glory. But the lions of Islam that we have now are far more virtuous then any hero of the past, save the Sahabah. But all we do is speak against them, and rely on the Kuffar to inform us of their position in Islam.
ajeeb?

Re: Dreams Of the Mujahideen.
Inshallah one day Bin Laden is sent to the dustbin of history. May Allah curse him and avenge the thousands of lives lost due to him.
Disgraceful to see people supporting him.

Re: Dreams Of the Mujahideen.
I would take these anecdotes with a pinch of salt. It sounds much like a tale made up purely for encouragement.
Makes me wonder these comments....

"In their stories is a lesson for the people of intelligence. It was not a narration that was invented, but an authentication of what is already present and a detailing of all things, and a guidance and mercy to a people who believe." [Qur'an 12:111]
Faith should be based more on the Qur'an, sister.

Bro, stop twisting everything. I did not mean it in the sense that you are trying to, by creating fitnah.
I know my belief and alHumdu-Lillaah it is based on the Qur'aan and Sunnah, perhaps you should do the same
Was-Salaamu 'Alaykum.

Here's a question. which one of the following heroes of the past, do you, a rafidhi, love and adore?
Quote:
|
Abdullah Ibn Mubarak, Muzaffar Qutuz or Salah ad-Deen etc.
|
My point exactly. If you cannot appreciate them even in hind-sight, which easier than fore-sightedness, then what is the point of you commenting on Abu Abdillah Osama Ibn Laden?
