Giving giving naseeha to 'nojabis'
Credit for the word "nojabi" goes to an article I read a few years back.
So what do you think about this guy's approach?

Agreed. Someone I know of thought that because hijab is fardh, then what this guy was doing was completely legit because he had to "command the good" and correct the sister.
I was just wanted to know if anyone shared this opinion.

I think it's fard, but at the same time I disagree with his approach.

I'm with IbnMardiyah on this one,
The intention behind this may be good (only Allah swt knows) but the approach is ridiculous. Browbeating.....excessive sarcasm, and rudeness will not lead anyone to the truth.

Nah not really because we are told explicitly to argue wisely in a manner that is beautiful. "Command the good and forbid the evil etc" has implications that go above and beyond what was displayed in the videos.

Even Imam Jaysh will not approve of this. This is just wrong.
EDIT: Wow, he's really baiting her. This is terrible.

Agreed. Even Tablighis are better than this. Both videos were awful and in poor taste.

Re: Giving giving naseeha to 'nojabis'
Oh and just to reiterate to what DD mentioned, I have absolute confidence in the bro's good intentions.
Its just that he went about it all wrong. I mean for God's sake, its EID!! You don't put someone on the spot like that on Eid ... like WTH ... poor girl, probably messed up the rest of her day.

Not only that, but what if the girl becomes more religious later in life...this video is humiliating her. That's just messed up.
