Then they wouldn't have show-cased your "interview".
If you notice the guy was actually like "finally! we got one that agrees .... " - meaning they probably ran into several other girls who told them mildly to F.O.

The girl was dumb and the guy was dumb. They're perfect one another.

Re: Giving giving naseeha to 'nojabis'
What a douchebag..he's a Muslim he should know better, even his attitude to those celebrating Eid on the following day would have been enough for me to take him aside and have words...*kisses knuckles*
very infuriating they call themselves dawahworks? Adab of dawah anyone?
If anyone can get me this dudes contact info..i'd love to have words...in person.
Also a persons choice to not wear hijab in a non muslim society is no ones business but that persons.

Re: Giving giving naseeha to 'nojabis'
Asalamu Alaikum,
Ouch, I cringed a bit. Thats not Dawah....The best way to approach "nojabis" is to befriend them and lead them by your own example. Actually thats the best way in most cases for any type of Dawah.
May Allah(swt) grant him hidayaah.

it was hella tasteless given most of the people in this thread have been posting serious responses. everybody is just so dumbfounded by the guys condescending attitude. it's inappropriate to throw tablighis into this even as a joke.

The guy's condescending attitude is such a matter of seriousness that it's inappropriate to utilize any humor at all while denouncing his actions? I didn't realize denouncing his actions had to be approached with a gravity and earnestness on a par with cancer.
Given how you shifted from jumping up and down in indignation over criticism of Tablighis without any reference to the nature of this thread, to jumping up and down with indignation over making a joke about Tablighis in such a serious & tragic thread, I'm pretty sure you're just looking for an excuse to whine here.

anyway my beef with you on this was also fueled by the fact that you've made insensitive comments about tablighis on this board in the past as well.

You know, it's kind of funny/ironic.. your method of dealing with it was NOT a good way to give naseeha!
So anyway.. how many tablighis does it take to change a lightbulb?

So basically you can Preach'n'preach'n'preach but when it's time to practice it, Hikmah gets thrown out with the bathwater and dirty baby and you end up calling people names

I'm not the one jumping up and down full of self-righteous indignation on how the topic wasn't taken seriously enough, am I?
Anyway, you failed to answer my question.
A: An entire jamat. They take the lightbulb on jamat for 3 days and when it comes back, it's changed.

Agreed, a good fist in the face would have taught him to show respect. I cant believe people think its ok to openly mock other peoples beliefs, even people from their own religion!
