Do they make accommodations for menstruating women during eid?

In al-Saheehayn it is also narrated from Umm ‘Atiyyah that she heard the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) say: “Let the girls who have attained puberty, women in seclusion and menstruating women go out – i.e., to the Eid prayer – and witness good and the gathering of the believers. But let the menstruating women avoid the prayer place.”

How does that answer the question?

Eid prayer, traditionally, isn't done inside a masjid but in an open space. Women, even those mestruating, are encouraged to come out and listen. However, as far as I know the women aren't suppose to enter the actual area which is considered masjid.

I'm aware of that. But in cities like mine, where the Muslim population is small, there isn't any extra place besides the prayer area. So you really don't have an option to keep away from that area. I guess it's just better not to go if that's the case.

Allah does not prohibit menstruating women from entering a mosque in the Qur'an. But the question is, do you really care what Allah has allowed and disallowed in the Qur'an, or are you more interested in the 'different opinions' of the scholars which are not based on the Qur'an?

Stay at the very edges, away from a spot(s) which could be used to pray by others who are praying. Though youre right, its probably better to just stay home if the Masjid is too small.

Their opinions are based on their understanding of the Quran and the Sunnah.

They study the Hadith their whole life, but they don't understand the Qur'an. They think they're learning about the Qur'an through Hadith, but what they really learn is a bunch of innovations which they spread to others.

Re: Menstruating women entering masjid
Are we defining the area they can't enter (Jaysh' first link) as the main prayer hall where prayers are actually said, or any part of the building, such as classrooms, restrooms etc? I understood that she cannot enter the areas of the actual prayer, but could come if she was sitting in a non-prayer area like a classroom, and that this could actually be beneficial, since she could baby-sit or clean the restroom etc.

Yes, they do study the science of hadith and other areas of study, and that is how theyre better able to understand the Quran. The Prophet saw has been said to be a walking/talking Quran. Both sources of guidance compliment the other, and each would be difficult to understand on its own. Also, I think you understand that concept, I dont think you're that dense. Now, just try to embrace it
I dont think I want to address the last statement, itd probably give you room to start ridiculing great ulema who spent their lives serving Islam. But what you said is definitely not appreciated. Salam.

I didnt read the link. But the area specifically dsignated for prayer/ibadah should be avoided. All other places (classrooms/hallways/whatever) are okay. But even then, you should be considerate of those who are praying. And if the community masjid is small (like ilikemyscarfs masjid) its probably best to stay home unless you're really needed to help out with stuff- like you said.

Why am I quoting people and repeating their posts? sorry
