No no , not at all. Actually, we read the Quran from the English translation since we don't speak a lick of Arabic. In fact, many of us have to read the Roman transliteration because we can't even sound out the Arabic. Nonetheless, we have become experts in the Quran by reading a few websites that were initially started by our master and leader, Rashad Khalifa. In fact, we don't think that the Prophet explained the Quran; instead, that is our job to do since we know more than him. So we go around explaining the Quran with our own commentaries and rulings. For example, based on the Quran, we have derived our own fiqh rulings. After all, we think of our role as superior to the Prophets, who were forbidden to derive fiqh, whereas we have been given that right.
