Assalam Alaykum,

They usually have rooms built in some of the Masajids here specifically for this and maybe other reasons. But some don't, and thats where the problem comes in, because its nice going for Eid prayers.

If the Qur'an is so difficult to understand without spending years of studying Hadith, then why does Allah in so many Verses refer to the Qur'an as a clear / understandable Book, for example:

"These are the Verses of a Clear Book" - (26:02)

"These are the Verses of the Qur'an - a Clear Book" - (27:01)

"These are the Verses of a Clear Book" - (28:02)

We dont look at the Qur'an ourselves because it became too much to cope with so many Hadiths and the Usool & the Fiqh...you see, we have to follow both together - Qur'an & Sunnah. Its too much for us to study so many Hadiths & we cant just look at the Qur'an like that without the other. So basically, what we do is let our ulamas who have studied it all for years deal with it all...we just fast and pray and follow along

No no , not at all. Actually, we read the Quran from the English translation since we don't speak a lick of Arabic. In fact, many of us have to read the Roman transliteration because we can't even sound out the Arabic. Nonetheless, we have become experts in the Quran by reading a few websites that were initially started by our master and leader, Rashad Khalifa. In fact, we don't think that the Prophet explained the Quran; instead, that is our job to do since we know more than him. So we go around explaining the Quran with our own commentaries and rulings. For example, based on the Quran, we have derived our own fiqh rulings. After all, we think of our role as superior to the Prophets, who were forbidden to derive fiqh, whereas we have been given that right.
