How is that "anti-sufi"? Haqqani doesn't represent the mainstream Sufis, just as the madkhalis don't represent the mainstream Salafis. Majority of Sufis denounce Haqqani and his extreme innovations in religion. Create a thread bashing Madkhalis for all I care. That would be fair. I agree with whoever said this thread is counter-productive.

I dont follow salafis/wahabhis. Most of the salafis i have met are narrow and close minded.

Are you denying the fact that a many Salafis are compulsively obsessed with Sufis and Shias in general? and justifying the innovations they habitually induldge in? they do so to such an absurd extent that they do not see the errors of their ways.. you never see them condemning their fellow terrorist Al-Qaeda salafis, the wahhabis of the najd, the corrupt Saudi munafiq regime, and the likes..

I see what you're trying to suggest here...but instead of giving suggestions from a bench outside the field, why dont you come forward and teach us the "healthy way to approaching issues" like this with hikmah?

The suggestion that I'm denying anything is quite off the point. Were discussing methods of approaching specific issues.

I see what you're trying to suggest here...but instead of giving suggestions from a bench outside the field, why dont you come forward and teach us the "healthy way to approaching issues" like this with hikmah?

You could've presented the issue without specific names, keep it as an issue we have among some groups of people, and how its upsetting the extremes some may go, one way or the other in regards to deen. Evidences from the Quran and Sunnah in regards to moderation in deen and dunya would have been a good overall strength to your argument.

Errr, I think you need to hang with more Salafis. You do know that even among Salafis there is a division? In fact, as far as I know most Salafis on this board are anti-madkhali/Saudi Regime, etc.
