Re: Is mocking other people's belief part of your faith?
oh I understand a little more now, lol ok.
Well you can ask the question about anything, why are dating when you know its not allowed, why are you watching this horror film when its time for salaat, or why are you playing soccer. I mean I understand where you coming from, but its like you response might be "because I feel like it". But I understand, its like why are you doing this when its not right.

I agree, but if someone wants to say ohh this muslim did it then ohh they all do it, well they're a little slow. But I get what your saying. Its like with anything.

and to add a bit more to your post, its more like why are you doing it in front of everyone, and giving them incorrect impression about Islam, especially if you insist/claim that you're a good muslim or self-righteous?

how would you scope the boundaries of mocking and criticizing? non-muslims would argue saying rubbish about Mohammad (sa)'s wedding to Aisha (ra) is critcism. I would knock a few teeth off the person who'd mock my religion like that.

like Salika said, this makes no sense whatsoever.
Islam is what muslims have faith in, I don't see how you can seperate the two.

interesting. then how would you explain the incessant mocking and attacking of other people's beliefs not only amongst the muslim populace but just narrowed to the scope of Islamican muslims?

I would explain it by telling you that muslims are people, and people do a lot of stuff.
But yes, some people find certain beliefs to be so idiotic that they mock it. What makes it different from other people mocking Islam? The difference is that we are right and they are wrong.
