Wow, you got married?
I've never been to ISNA. I was interested in the Texas Dawah Conference though...does anyone have more information on it?

Re: Isna 2008
Assalam 'Alaykum,
So my Sister will be going to ISNA this year inshaAllah with her husband. What should I ask her to get me?
I also wanted to know, do they sell those coloured Niqabs there? It's hard to find coloured ones here, because the norm is black.
So ISNA shoppers, let me know.

Wa Alaykumsalam,
Man, I wish I could've traveled with you. You're so close. Anyway, you better get me something from the Islamica booth.

Do you know how to niqaab with your hijab? It looks great, and stays well in place. But you need a larger than average hijab.
It looks so, so pretty.

Asalamu Alaikum!
Come with me! Come with me! And I'll show you around Columbus too, because Columbus is fun and not boring at all as all these Islamicans are making it out to be.
Which sister of yours is going to ISNA? One of the ones that I met?
Comeeee

Actually I don't. I know you require the square Hijab for that and I've never worn a square Hijab in my life. We usually wear shaylas, the rectangular wrap arounds here in Dubai. I ate the Abaya/Hijab thread a year or so back trying to figure out how some Niqaabis wear it that way, then I realised they wear square Hijabs.
I'm going to get a few though... from somewhere. I think they're often worn in the West more. I usually wear the string ones or the normal tie-at-the back black ones.
Anyway, I think I'll refrain from turning this into a 'How to wear Niqaab in different ways thread'.

Talk to my Dad. I'd love to, but oh well. Besides it's going to take ages to get my Visa for the US done.
I can't remember which ones you met. I think you've met her, but I'm not sure. I don't think she was there when you came and you met the other two. I'll let her know though.

Why did I think you were American all this time? I know you're from Dubai, but I thought you had moved there or something
