I'm not sure about sikhs, but Buddhists make that form with their hand to show astonishment during times of meditation. I just make this face when I'm astonished.
Then my wife slaps me and tells me to get that stupid look off my face.
She slaps hard.
Real hard.

That was an unfair attack on sh Gibril.
I hope you feel comfortable sleeping at night you self righteous ass.
oh and btw, i think you're a little pu$$y for bringing something up in a forum full of kids where no one can actually question what you're doing.

Interesting the tongue thing is Nei-Dan internal elixir martial arts training. I'm curious whether they use the Daoist or Buddhist breathing technique.
Basically you'll notice that you can still your thoughts if you touch your tongue to your pallet and stop your breath for a few seconds..

Re: "Shaykh" Nazim al-Haqqani nonsense
I honestly don't see what's so hilarious about it.
I think the last stage is when with every breath, your heart says Allah. All dhikr, all the time. You don't think that's cool?
m_ali_qazi: Buddhists, yeah. Maybe 'cause it's really the same religion.

How was it unfair? That is Gibril Hadad's teacher. If people like Hadad and his Sufi compatriots attack Sh. Al-Albani (ra) for his teachers--and if they attack Sh. Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahhab (ra) for his teachers--then what should prevent us from exposing the laughable roots of Gibril Hadad?
And let it be known that those pictures are from Nazim al-Haqqani's own book. I've seen it myself at a bookstore. So nobody can claim that this is just a student who doesn't represent Nazim al-Haqqani.

Re: "Shaykh" Nazim al-Haqqani nonsense
i dont think you should really be worrying about sheikh nazim haqqani's tariqa. or any other tariqa for that matter. and goldi is right in that i doubt many people on this forum can appreciate spirituality, so to post stuff like this is a bit of a non starter.
i dont "follow" the haqqanis, but i have to say that a lot of people just point out bad things, but over look the fact that they have bought many hundreds (if not thousands) of people into islam. YES WE HAVE ALL SEEN THE VIDEOS AND READ THE WEBSITE LINKS, but at least the non muslims who converted because of them have recited the shahada and follow sunni islam.
