Any brothers in the worcester area? I'm going to be going to school in conneticut in the summer and I'm thinking about going to this seminar/program. Can anyone tell me about the masjid, close hotels etc....

For the first time in years, the northeast will have a Shaykh from Ahl as-Sunnah wa al-Jama`ah to visit them and give classes to teach the Sunnah.
As is mentioned on the flyer, the Shaykh will be conducting a Seminar throughout the week, explaining a text on Fiqh, for information regarding that, check back here on

The Shaykh will first arrive here June 23rd, and will leave one week later, on June 30th, inshaaAllaah. As it says in the flyer, the Shaykh will have the Main-Event on the weekend of the 27th of June through the 29th.
Below is a Brief Introduction of Shaykh Saalim at-Taweel:
he Shaykh is Abu Sa‘d Saalim bin Sa‘d bin Saalim at-Taweel.
The Shaykh was born May 16th, 1962.
The Shaykh graduated in 1407H, from the department of Usool ad-Deen, at Imaam Muhammad bin Sa‘ood Islamic University in Qaseem, in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Shaykh is an Imaam and Khateeb under the Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Kuwait, since 1991CE.
From 1402-1407H, the Shaykh was a regular student of Shaykh Muhammad bin Saalih al-‘Uthaymeen, may Allaah have mercy upon him. Also, he has spent a number of years close to the Shaykh of the Salafiyyeen in Kuwait, Abu Yoosuf Abdur-Rahmaan Abdus-Samad, may Allah have mercy upon him, as well as the Esteemed Shaykh Falaah bin Ismaa‘eel Mundakaar, may Allaah preserve him, and others.
In 1995CE, the Shaykh obtained a High Diploma in al-Hadeeth ash-Shareef from the College of Sharee‘ah at Kuwait University.
In 2004CE, the Shaykh obtained a Masters from the department of Hadeeth and its Sciences at the University of Karachi.
The Shaykh is a Family Affairs Consultant under the Ministry of Justice in Kuwait.
During the past twenty one years, the Shaykh has been teaching in Kuwait and other countries, like United Arab Emirates (UAE), Yemen, the United Kingdom, the United States of America, and others.
