It was some kind of dhikr event..certain sufi orders (like the Haqqani) do this. The guy singing is a minor celebrity in the UK.

It's despicable to even consider what that guy's doing as dhikr. On the contrary it is:
a) Haram (with maza'if and all)
b) Ignorant. I wondr if his super-human maulana ever considered teaching him basics of islam.
c) His third-rate 'song' reeks of shirk.
May Allah keep us away from such abject ignorance, ameen.
