Hey man Islamic Awakening is a decent forum, the brothers are very knowledgeable. There are some views on there which I obviously don't agree with along with some jerks who post, but most of the brothers are fairly respectful and are able to debate in a logical manner. I for one could care less about someone's views than I do about how they present them. As long as you bring some legit proof for your opinion and are willing to respectfully agree to disagree with those who hold other legit opinions.

Ignore Jaysh's rhetoric. He's been playing Age of Empires again.

I love a lot of people who post there. Even though I think Abuz Z has attitude issues, I still respect him a lot. He has invaluable input and knowledge. I think Um Abdullah is awesome. I love Abu Maryam as-Salafi. And there are others too.
I hate the dogs, which include AbuMuwahhid, AbuUsama, MustafaAlMuhajir, Jund-al-Islam, etc. All the terrorist lovers.
My feeling is that the forum is overrun by these dogs, who should just be banned. They ruin the entire atmosphere of Islamic Awakening, and they are the least in knowledge. I much rather prefer Multaqa ahl al-hadeeth. A much better forum.

To dissociate yourself from such people whose views you not only disagree with but strongly believe to be completely erroneous is one thing.
To call them the dogs of hellfire is another.
Lets hold ourself to some higher standards worthy of the "Muslim" title, inshallah.

I have no problems with calling the neo-khawaarij as dogs of Hell-Fire. I believe that there is proof in the ahadeeth for this accusation.
In regards to holding ourselves to higher standards worthy of the "Muslim" title, I totally agree with you...
Wait a sec, wasn't it you who just said to sister Timbit the following:

Anyways, so I think if you can call a girl the most besharam larkhi, I think I can get away with calling terrorist lovers as dogs.

I see.
So you use what you perceive as the wrong behavior of others, to justify your own?
Is that correct?

Re: Refuting "shaykh" Hamza Yusuf
I just want to clarify: those who commit acts like the neo-khawaarij, then they are dogs of hell-fire, and those who sympathize with them are lovers of the dogs of hell-fire.

Ibn 'Abbas (ra) argued with many Khawarij and brought them back from error.
Ali (ra) reportedly said that Khawarij are our brothers who have erred.
Bro, even if you consider them dogs of hellfire, you don't have the right attitude. We shouldn't wish bad for anyone but wish Guidance for them.

I hate clones who try to emphasize political correctness and respell words with an extra bit of mustard(see above).
Reminds of this one guy at my masjid who keeps saying the urdu word "namaaz" as "namauddddhh" in order to emphasize his desi-arab hyper boaterness.

What? Lol...in urdu it's a 'zaay' not "dhaal/zaal". They guy surely doesn't know that there's only one way to say 'namaz' and that is: namaz.
