My point was that even the Americans that don't *hate* us, are not necessarily exemplary of the type of people we want creating and influencing a society's ideals .. though Hanbali did say that if they didn't change their ways, they were damned, so I guess he already addressed that |

Brother six pak, as I told you via MSN Messenger Service, I meant only to cite the example of Jon Stewart (may Allah [swt] grant him hidaya) to show that not all Americans are xenophobes who want Muslims out of their country. Some are like Jon Stewart in that respect.
This does not mean that I agree with Jon Stewart on other issues. Rather, we must model ourselves around the Prophet [s] and his disciples.
