Ties are moronic because they are utterly useless and originated as a sign of servitude. You ever wonder why they don't wear ties in Iran ?

Tool.

Is it the same reason they pray to the Mahdi in a well in Qom?

No offense to the Iranians but each culture has its own retarded practices. Just because you're offended that Turks are going to Pakistan and spreading love, theres no reason to lash out against everyone else.

These schools aren't 100% run by Turks, most of them ar erun by Natives.

"You have so much, but you gave us so little," the children complained.
"There is no difference whether you have a basketful or a small piece. They all taste the same," Hodja remarked.

noone is trying to make u accept turkish culture.. the moral of the article is: turks are looking as nonmuslims to pakis, coz they wear a tie. turks are not getting all the way to pakistan for making them wear a tie!
the only reason turks teach there is to connect two brother culture to each other.
not only pakistan, theyre in ghana ,nigeria, russia, ukraine, china.. and all!

Hmm, did you have to take a cheap shot at "Iranian culture" to make your point? Offense taken.

I wasn't taking a cheap shot i was using that scenario to make a point. Each culture has such a wide spectrum of practices to the mundane to the utterly ridiculous.

I was trying to think of the most insane thing my Iranian friend told me about about HIS culture.

People on this forum constantly rip my culture and my people, I don't cry about it because I have thick skin and understand that sometimes people are douchbags.

In my culture, when you sit down to the table, you're not supposed to eat until everyone is ready to eat together. When I went to Pakistan over Christmas, I had my breakfast, but I wasn't eating it. My FIL asked me "why aren't you eating" and I said "because you aren't eating, and I can't start eating until you start eating" he thought I was weird.

That's in Muslim culture too ... that's how it is in my house but some people just aren't like that, even if XYZ behavior is a nuanced part of ABC culture, not everyone in that cultural or ethnic group know well enough to observe it, especially if its considered part of manners.
