Default Hey mannn, why do you say one thing and do another?

“Why do you say what you do not do? It is deeply abhorrent to God that you should say what you do not do.” (Quran, 61:2-3)

subhaAllah..there is so much wisdom in this ayah. at times we say things we'll do either as favors, part of our obligations to others/ourselves. and at the end of the day, we find ourselves speaking too much and acting very little upon it.

it is just how i see this ayah as a paradigm of a human nature..we always fall too short.
