Miracles of the Prophet (s)

Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him) was granted many miracles by Allah (SWT) and some of them are as follows:

1. The Holy Qur’an is the living miracle bestowed by Allah upon Prophet Muhammad and this, Allah’s Book, was revealed to him through the (Gabriel). Today 1400 years have passed and nobody has been able to change a single letter or produce its imitation, as it is said in the Qur an (See Surah Hijr, V.15:9) and the statement of the Prophet :

“Before me, every Prophet was given a miracle and they practised it during their lifetime: e.g., ‘Iesa (Jesus) used to cure the sick and make the dead alive, etc., Musa (Moses) was given the stick etc., and I have been given the permanent miracle of the Qur’an till the Hour is established, so I hope that my followers will be more in number than all the other Messengers’ as my miracle will last till the Day of Resurrection, and it is a Glorious Book; when anyone reads it, even if he is a pagan, etc., he is convinced that it is produced by none but by the Creator of the heavens and the earth.”

2. The splitting of the moon:
Narrated Anas, that the Makkans requested Allah’s Messenger to show them a miracle, so he showed the splitting of the moon.
( See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.4, Hadith No. 831)
3. The crying of the stem of the date-palm tree in the Prophet’s Mosque:
Narrated Ibn ‘Umar, that the prophet used to deliver his Khutba (religious talk) while leaning against a trunk of a date-palm tree. When he had the pulpit made and used it instead, the trunk started crying and the Prophet went to it, rubbing his hand over it (to stop its crying).
(See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.4, Hadith No. 783)

4. The flowing of the water from among the fingers of Allah’s Messenger (See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.4, Hadith No. 779)
Narrated Jabir bin ‘Abdullah: I was with the Prophet and the time for the ‘Asr prayer became due. We had no water with us except a little which was put in a vessel and was brought to perform ablution. The blessing is from Allah.” I saw the water gushing out from his fingers. So the people performed the ablution and drank, and I tried to drink more of that water (beyond my thirst and capacity), for I knew that it was a blessing. The subnarrator said : I asked Jabir, “How many persons were you then?” He replied, ” We were one thousand four hundred men.” (Salim said: Jabir said - 1500).
(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.7, Hadith No. 543)
5.The Prophet’s meals used to glorify Allah while he ate, and this glorification was heard by the companions of the Prophet (See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.4, Hadith No. 779).

6. Stones used to greet the Prophet whenever he passed by through the lanes of Makka.

7. The throwing out of a dead body of a Christian by the earth:
Narrated Anas: There was a Christian who embraced Islam and read Surat Al-Baqarah and Al-Imran and he used to write the revelation for the Prophet. Later on he reverted to Christianity and used to say, “Muhammad knows nothing but what I have written for him.” Then Allah caused him to die and the people buried him but in the morning they found that the earth had thrown out his body. They said, “This is the deed of Muhammad and his companions. They have opened the grave of our companion and took his body out because he ran away from them,” so they again dug the grave deeper for him, but in the morning they again found that the earth had thrown the body out. They said, “This is a deed of Muhammad and his companions.” So they dug a third grave for him as deep as they could, but in the morning they found that the earth had thrown the body out. Then they believed what had befallen him, was not done by mankind, and they had to leave the body on the ground.
(See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol.4, Hadith No. 814)
8. The screening (shading) by the trees, for the Prophet to answer the call of nature.

9. The rising of water in the well at Hudaibiya after it had dried. (See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 4. Hadith No. 777)

10.The increase in the amount of dates in the garden of Jabir bin ‘Abdullah after the prophet went round the heaps of dates and invoked Allah for His Blessings. (See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 4, Hadith No. 780)

11. Speaking of the wolf: It has been written that a wolf also spoke to one of the companions of the Prophet near Al-Madina, as narrated in Musnad of Ahmad, Vol.3, Page 83, Musnad Abi Saeed Al-Khudri.
Narrated Abi Saeed Al-Khudri: (While a shepherd was amongst his sheep) suddenly a wolf attacked a sheep and took it away. The shepherd chased the wolf and get back the sheep. The wolf sat on its tail and addressed the shepherd saying: “Be afraid of Allah, you have taken the provision from me which Allah gave me.” The shepherd said: “What an amazing thing! A wolf sitting on its tail speaks to me in the language of a human being.” The wolf said: “Shall I tell you something more amazing than this? There is Muhammad (the Messenger of Allah) in Yathrib (Al-Madina) informing the people about the news of the past.” Then the shepherd proceeded (towards Al-Madina) driving his sheep till he entered Al- Madina (city) , cornered his sheep to one side and came to Allah’s Messenger (Muhammad ) and informed the whole story.
Allah’s Messenger ordered for the proclamation of a congregational prayer , then he came out and asked the shepherd to inform the people (about his story) and he informed them. Then Allah’s Messenger said: “He (the shepherd) has spoken the truth . By Him (Allah) in Whose Hands my soul is, the Day of Resurrection will not be established till beasts of prey speak to the human beings, and the stick lash and the shoe-laces of a person speaks to him and his thigh informs him about his family as to what happened to them after him.
(Musnad Ahmad, Vol. 3, Page 83. Musnad Abi Saeed Al-Khudri)
12. The Mi’raj: The Ascent of the Prophet to the heavens. (See Sahih Al-Bukhari, Vol. 1, Hadith No. 345 and Vol.5, Hadith No. 227).

Not liking the white font in the video though for the subtitles, but somebody already posted a translation of this here, no? And you can Google one anyway.

Peace and salutations upon our Beloved, the exemplary seal of the Prophets.

Default Re: The "Praising the Beloved (saw)" thread

Here we shall see those who really love Prophet (saw)
And those who claim to love him but are fooling themselves and the other.
------------------------
SHIAS OR SUNNI
THERE IS ONE THNG VERY MUCH IN COMMON

THE LOVE FOR ALLAH (SWT)
AND THE LOVE AND RESPECT FOR PROPHET MUHAMMAD (SAW)

-----------------------
‘One’ (Allah’s creature) who stands at a foot of a ‘Mountain’ (status of Iman, ilm and purity) looks beyond its peak to see this Habib-ul-lah, Muhammad (saw)).

None of the creatures of Allah, can claim equality to His messengers (messengers are 124,000 in all)
None of His messengers can claim equality to His Rasool (Rasool are 313 in all)
None of His Rasool cannot claim equality to His Ulil-azm Rasools (Ulil-azm Rasools are 5 in all)
And None of His Ulil azm Rasools cannot claim equality to Prophet Muhammad (saw)

No you haven’t yet realized, the heights even though Allah (SWT) has opened wide the curtains of ignorance.

Do you know who this Muhammad is
Do you know who this habib-ul-lah is?
He is Ahmed in the heavens and Muhammad on the earth.
To know him, it is sufficient to know that, Allah Himself named him Muhammad - (the praised one)

He is one whom Allah invited as a guest to the seventh heaven (MERAJ)
He is one whom Allah invited to the heights that no creature reached.
So that O’ mankind, you might know that, this is Muhammad in name, in iman , in Ilm and in taqwa.

The ignorant say its biddah to praise Muhammad
Do they know that Allah, Himself has praised Muhammad.

They say he is like us, - you and me, – Allah says, no HE IS MUHAMMAD. (the praised one)
With your amaal you fail to reach the height of humanity – With his taqwa he has reached the heights of seven heavens.

Those that see him at heights will strive to reach him.
Those that fail shall remain low, wondering hither thither.

--------------------------
All the Prophets (Adam to Ibrahim, Isaac to Isa and Esmail to Muhammad )were men (human beings). They were not extraterrestrials.
They raised themselves in status with their knowledge, faith and devotion. --- After all everyone is not equal
SO WHY THIS COMMOTION – WHY DO THEY WANT TO BRING DOWN PROPHET (SAW) SO MUCH?
What enmity they have with prophet (saw)

READ THIS - The Destruction and Desecration of Makkah and Madina's Historical Sites - The Destruction and Desecration of Makkah

THE DESTRUCTION AND DESECRATION OF MAKKAH AND MADINA'S SITES
In the holy city of Madinah many original sites which were preserved by caliphates to further honour our beloved Prophet (PBUH) have been either removed or modified. One example is the name of the Prophet (PBUH) being removed from the golden door leading to the grave of our Prophet (PBUH) and replacing it with Allah's name "Majid" only - the name has been written in such a way to look like "Muhammad".

However in the masjid you will find the name of King Fahd on plaques written in beautiful golden Arabic fonts for all to see as if his name has greater importance than that of the Messenger of Allah.

Ask yourself what is the intention of removing Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) name from the door of his own grave when the Prophet has informed us that his name is on the Arsh (Throne of Allah SWT)?*

In the holy city of Makkah the birthplace of our beloved Prophet (PBUH) is under threat by the Saudi authourities. They want to take down the the house where our Prophet (PBUH) was born which, at this time, is surrounded by this token library. A pilgrim will not even realise this is Prophet Muhammad's (PBUH) birthplace as it is not mentioned by way of any plaque or signs. Why are the Saudi authourities trying to disparage the great history of Islam and its Nabi (PBUH)in such a way? We would not be Muslim if it were not for the grace of Allah (SWT) and his "Mercy to Mankind" Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

* Haakim, Ba'Haqqi and Tibrani, Abu Naeem, and Ibn Asaakir have all narrated a Hadith from Hadhrat Umar (R.A) that the dear Prophet (saw) said, "When Hadhrat Adam (A.S) committed the original sin he prayed to Allah 'In the name of Muhammad (saw), please forgive me'. Allah asked, ' And how do you know Muhammad (saw)?' Adam replied, 'Because when You created me with Your own hands, and blew Your Ruh into me, I looked up at the pillars of the Arsh (throne) and I saw 'La illaha illallah Muhammad ur Rasool Allah' written there. And I knew that you would not couple your name with anyone except the most beloved of Your creation.' Allah replied, 'O Adam, you are correct. For if it wasn't for Muhammad (saw) I would not have created you'." (p.28, Khasaa Ese Kubraa, Imam Jalaluddin Suyooti, Volume 1, Al Maktaba Al Qayemma) - Ather Hussain Al-Azhari

Narrated Anas ibn Malik (radiAllahu anhu) that Allah's Messenger (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said: He who invokes one blessings upon me, Allah will shower ten blessings upon him and obliterate ten sins (of his) and elevate him by ten ranks.
[Nasa'i; Hadith No. 922 of Mishkat al Masabih.]

O Allah, send blessings and Peace upon our Master and Patron Muhammad, The Owner of the Crown and the Ascent and the Buraq and the Standard,
The Repeller of Affliction and Disease and Drought and Illness and Pain.
His name is written on high, served and engraved in the Tablet and the Pen,
The Leader of All, Arabs and non-Arabs, Whose body is sanctified, fragrant, and pure, Illumined in the House and the Haram, The Sun of Brightness, the Full Moon in Darkness, The Foremost One in the Highest Fields, the Light of Guidance, The Cave of Refuge for Mortals, the Lamp That Dispels the Night, The Best-Natured One, The Intercessor of Nations, The Owner of Munificence and Generosity.
Allah is his Protector, Gabriel is his servant. The Buraq is his mount, the Ascent is his voyage, The Lote-Tree of the Furthermost Boundary is his station, Two Bow-Lengths or Nearer is his desire, His desire is his goal, and he has reached his goal,
The Master of the Messengers, the Seal of the Prophets, The intercessor of sinners, the Benefactor of the poor, The Mercy for the Worlds,
The rest of those who burn with love, the goal of those who yearn, The sun of knowers of Allah, the lamp of travellers, The light of Those Brought Near, The friend of the poor and destitute,
The master of Humans and Jinn, The Prophet of the Two Sanctuaries, The Imam of the Two Qiblas, Our Means in the Two Abodes, The Owner of Qaba Qawsayn,
The Beloved of the Lord of the Two Easts and the Two Wests, The grandfather of al-Hasan and al-Husayn, Our patron and the patron of Humans and Jinn: Abu al-Qasim Muhammed Son of `Abd Allah, A light from the light of God.
O you who yearn for the light of his beauty, Send blessings and utmost greetings of peace Upon him and upon his Family.

Allahumma salli wasallim wa baarik alayh

Ameen and again Ameen

Springs Gift
By Shaykh Hamza Yusuf

I envy the sand that met his feet
I’m jealous of honey he tasted sweet
Of birds that hovered above his head
Of spiders who spun their sacred web
To save him from his enemies
I envy clouds formed from the seas
That gave him cover from the heat
Of a sun whose light could not compete
With his, whose face did shine so bright
That all was clear in blinding night
I envy sightless trees that gazed
Upon his form completely dazed
Not knowing if the sun had risen
But felt themselves in unison
With those who prayed, and fasted too
Simply because he told them to
With truth and kindness, charity
From God who gave such clarity
His mercy comes in one He sent
To mold our hearts more heaven bent
I envy all there at his side
Who watched the turning of the tide
As truth prevailed and falsehood fled
And hope restored life to the dead
Men and Women through him found grace
To seek together God’s noble face
I envy the cup that gave him drink
His thoughts that helped us all to think
To be one thought that passed his mind
Inspiring him to act so kind
For me this world is not one jot
If I could simply be a thought
From him to God throughout the ages
As revelation came in stages
I pity all who think it odd
To hear him say there is one God
Or he was sent by God to men
To hone their spirits’ acumen
It’s pride that blinds us from the sight
That helps good men to see his light
He taught us all to be God’s slaves
And he will be the one who saves
Humanity from sinful pride
Muhammad has God on his side
So on this day be blessed and sing
For he was born to grace our Spring
With lilies, flowers, life’s rebirth
In a dome of green like his on earth

Qadi Iyad cites from Sayyidna Al Abbas Ibn Abdul Muttalib (ra) in his Ash-Shifa, Page 85-86 of English Translation:

"Before you came to this world,
You were excellent in the shadows and in the repository
in the time (of Adam)
when they covered themselves with leaves.
Then you fell through the ages -
not as a mortal nor a lump of flesh nor as a clot.
Rather as a drop which rode the ships -
and put a bridle on the idol
Nasr while its people were drowned (in the time of Nuh).
The drop was transferred from loin to womb.
As the world proceeded, the next era appeared.
Then your guardian house contained loftiness from Khindif
underneath which were mountain ranges.
When you were born, the earth shone
and the Horizon was illuminated by your light.
We travel in that illumination
and in the light and the paths of right guidance.
O coolness of the fire of Ibrahim!
O cause of the protection in the blazing fire!"

Mawlid Mubarak to those who acknowledge it.

Wassalaam
