yes, vultures are pretty scary, especially turkey vultures. THey are SOOOO UGLY!!!! The look at you, and you can almost hear them thinking "hmmm, I wonder how she would taste with a side of dead rat..."

They can't allow the chicks to hatch, it was more about studying the embryo developement when genes are activated in different orders. They have to destroy those eggs.
If you like to eat nearly developed eggs, you should to to the Phillipines. Balut, hard boiled duck embryos, is a delicacy there:

Since Adam (alayhi salam) was supposed to be like 80 feet tall, maybe he used to eat dinosaurs like we eat chickens |

No, cuz dinosaurs were long dead by the time of Adam (as) But maybe he ate Ostrich eggs like we eat chickens. I be ostrich would taste pretty yummy.

Ethical reasons. The experiments are on an ethical grey line, and the rules for such experiments are that you can't allow the creature to mature.
