Re: Prophet Muhammad's (saw) Family Tree!
Between Adam, Nuh and Ibrahim, I assume they got the chain from the Bible, so don't be surprised if it seems like a rather short chain compared to how long we think human's existed according to science.
Also, isn't Lut a cousin of Ibrahim?

With all this talk of evolution/creationism that never even crossed my mind.
Is the space between each box one generation?

Well it couldn't be really. I counted it up, if everyone had babies when they were on average 30 years of age, the first person, Adam would have been around 2460 years ago. That places him right about the time the Athens and Sparta were duking it out for the first time, well after the founding of Rome, and way after Egypts three kingdoms.
Maybe I did some math wrong though.

Yeah, but according to the Bible, some of those people (particularly the earlier generations) lived for long, long times.

Re: Prophet Muhammad's (saw) Family Tree!
Mankind is at the very, very least about 50,000 years old, but most probably more. Prophet Adam (as) had to be at least that long ago.

agreed! which is why i can not accept this genealogy, because it puts adam at somewhere around 5700-6100 years(if it correlates with the bible which it seems to.)
