Default Can you see the prophet in your dreams

I write this with anxiety, because I do not understand this dream and I have never in my life recall dreaming like this, I went to sleep saying ¨´ la illaha illaha¨ over and over again.
I dreamt that I lying down on a mattress and I was feeding some ants with crumbs of bread, I was amazed that the ants would eat the bread crumbs so fast, while I was doing this I did not realize how many ants their really were. They move d wherever I put the crumbs and very fast. I also saw that they would outline my hand but not climb on it.
Finally I notice that there were thousands of ants covering the whole room ceiling and walls and floor….they were falling line rain down from the ceiling and I heard some one say to me what have you done, so I got up to brush the ants that seem that they were on me, when a man of fair complexion sort of tan, I am not sure if he had a beard started praying in Arabic and the ants started to go away. I heard that his name was Muhammad, as I looked at this man the attention of his eyes were like glowing in the pupil of his eyes I could see a hand grasping like to drink water the water had a reflection as the tone of gold….then I woke up.

Rusulullah (saw), said: "Whoever sees me in a dream has really seen me, because Shaytaan cannot appear in my image." [al-Bukhaari : 5729]

I don't think you should reveal your dream online though. Ask a scholor or something to interpret it....

Yes you can see him (saw). Consider yourself extremely lucky cause many would give up anything to see him (saw).
Go to sunniforum.com and request sister musk to interperate the dream for you.
She's has ijazah to do so. It would be better if you asked her rather than us laymen.

however.. none of us have ever seen what the Prophet SAW looks like..so how would we know if it's in fact him or not?

something to ponder.

Yea I've always pondered that too. Maybe something was "said".

personally i think its just a sentiment you feel and know...im sure some of you have had dreams when at the time in the dream you just know that your waiting for that particular person - so when u see them you know its them, even if they look different.

likewise when you see Him (saw) in a dream, your heart and mind know that im waiting for the Prophet (saw) or that when you see Him, it occurs to you that "this is the Prophet (saw)" . and you can see him (saw) in all sorts of states, appearances, conditions depending on the message He (Saw) wishes to convey. and also depending on your spiritual state...

its simply this - if or when you see him (saw), you'll know it was him.

You were just dreaming. You can't see the prophet s.a.w. in your dreams.
