I simply love how sh. Mustafa Ismail (rahimuhullah) recited the Qur'aan. Mash'allah, there are so many talented reciters out there, but I feel that none can compete with sh. Mustafa

subhaAllah in last few hours, i have heard almost 5-6 qaris recite the similar surahs from the quran and i can't make up my mind as to which one is the best. i really think it is rather a unjust question to ask,' who has the most melidious voice?' rather it is the beauty of the quran that beautifies each and every individual's voice who recites it with pure sincerity and humility. mashaAllah mashaAllah to all of 'em.

Shaykh Saud ash-Shuraim is absolutely
I went for Umrah recently and I really really wanted Shaykh Shuraim to lead Fajr, especially since it was Friday and I knew he would recite Surahs Sajdah and Insan ('cause it's Sunnah to do so). Well, my du'a wasn't accepted and Shaykh Abdullah Awwad al-Johany led the prayer - and it was his best recitation ever! He recited the same Surahs and it was almost as as Sh. Shuraim's recitation. You could feel the emotion he was putting into it and it was strong enough to give you goosebumps.
And Sh. Shuraim led Juma so it was double awesome.

I stumbled upon this earlier YouTube - Quran: Surah Al-Lail (Al-Layl), Qari Antar Said.
He's using the Qâlûn reading as well as the more famous warsh reading.
