Actually when I was making that first post, I had an uneasy feeling. There was something missing but I did not care that time. I was just blinded by the fact that I live in a muslim country. Usually here in Pakistan children are brought up in strict religious environment and even in their childhood they memorise a good part of the "Holy Quran". Also the people around you are commonly muslim. Here we treat the "Holy Quran" with utmost care.

But in an non-muslim country I think the situation is different. So a person literally carrying "Quran" with himself may get more benefit than leaving it in the home. As he can recite it and also can give it as a gift to a non muslim friend. So the benefits derived by keeping it with yourself are far greater than the sin of accidently carrying it in some dirty place. But I think there one can also take care that before going into a dirty place one can leave the "Holy Book" with someone etc.

A good muslim is a walking and talking Quran but that is not in a physical sense it is rather spiritual thing and you just can not leave your spirit out when going into a toilet.

The worst is when you have old uncles whose cell phones start blasting Hips Don't Lie in the middle of salaah, especially if its in the last two rak'aat and everyone is quiet.
Please tell me that that didn't really happen
