Actually since this is a realistic interperation of transformers, they were trying to find names to fit their attributes. There are no bumblebees from cybertron, plus you have to consider the scene where Bumblee is shadow boxing when he was being introduced.

Another tip.. The Autobots were at a mosque-looking building after Bumblebee was captured.
