Your implicit comparison of George W Bush's drooling, base lapdogs to Sayyedina Ali (RA) speaks volumes about where you're coming from on this topic.

Killing yourself in battle to harm the enemy is a fiqh issue. I didn't say I agreed with Hamas' viewpoint, because I don't; I just said that other scholars have.

You can sit there and waste time trying to trivialize the example of pizza without even attempting to dissociate its superficial layer and dissect the underlying logic, but you can't give me an answer the khutba question.. because you simply don't have one.

So now my level of understanding of Islam is predicated on my level of understanding of Hamas? Interesting logic.

Anyway, I'm not sure whether you know who Abdul Aziz Rantisi was. He was the leader of Hamas after the death of Sheikh Yassin, until by the grace of Allah, he achieved martyrdom himself. In IslamOnline's interview with him, he specifically and explicitly stated that Hamas was a Salafi movement.

This sentence is completely incoherent. But I can derive that you're one of the Saudi lapdog Salafis. The worst kind. Your heroes are the cowardly, alcoholic lapdogs of Zionist kaffirs.

Hamas is Salafi? What next..George Bush is Salafi? You have to distinguish between the true followers of the Salaf (such as Sh. Uthaymeen, Albany, etc) and groups like the SPUBS/TROID and the Saudi government which have caused a lot of fitnah in the muslim world. It's the same as including the likes of fitnah mongerers Haqqani and Kabbani when talking about Sufis. I don't think any true "Salafi" would defend the Saudi government for its many crimes against muslims, but seriously who amongst the 50+ muslim countries in the world is a true representative of Islam? What has Musharraf done besides being a staunch ally of the U.S. in its war on Islam? The instant you made a connection between the Saudi government and the Salafis at large is when you lost your credibility as a poster.

Hamas being Salafi is nothing to be ashamed of for Salafis, imo. Go see the Tasawwuf thread and read over it so you can follow the discussion taking place here properly.

Your buddy AbuAlAbbas just did.

You're right, there isn't really anyone. Musharraf is a scumbag.

I didn't make an instant connection between Saudis and Salafis. You haven't followed the discussion properly; it started in the Tasawwuf thread and I moved it back here.
