Re: Being a Real Man in Islam
MC, I know Arabesque has that rare quality of beauty AND intelligence [mashaAllah] but don't you think you're taking the stalking thing a bit too far?
Never shop for what you cannot afford, pet.

HAHAHA!
I'm old enough to be his auntie. But yeah, the stalking bit is annoying. MC has an opinion about everything.

Yeah but the thing is, he's not even in your league sis.
MC needs someone less secure about themselves...perhaps even, the more 'disgruntled' type?
Oh I know, what about a fellow Egyptian?
Oh no wait. She's over 16. Too old.
Excuse me whilst I think aloud...

And how is it healthy to live your life completely 'sheltered' from that which is inevitable?

A trip to the graveyard is different to a trip to the graveyard at 2 am in the morning. It can mess with your head. I wouldn't advise to live a lif completely sheltered, i just don't agree with the methods

Its a fine way to do it, in fact once we had a qiyaam at a masjid, with about 120 guys ... teenagers and young bucks in their early 20s ... and at like 2am, about 100 of them piled into like 20 cars, souped up Acuras and Civics and Mitsubishis, and they all headed off to the nearest cemetery. Most of the boys didn't know where the drivers were taking them.
In any case, after that event, a lot of the boys gave up stupid stuff like smoking and being disobedient to their parents, etc etc. They became better people.
hmmm ... not so messed up then, eh.

The consequences were nice but that doesn't justify the method. Shock isn't always good for everyone and you're lucky somebody hasn't reacted badly to it so far. A gradual learning process encourages people to keep learning, be more aware of the life around them and make sense of life in a more rounded way. Instant shock could send people to the other extreme and i don't feel that's good for them.
But, if that works for you, alhamdulillah.

Ghulam (older than Sabbi, and that's probably 10+)
Fatta (I'd say between 12-17)
Shaab (young man, probably 18+)
Rajjul (man, that's like nearing or mid 30s)
Kahl (one who has reached maturity, 30+)
Shaykh or Sha'ib (one whose hair and beard has started greying indicating old age, 50+)
Mussin (60+)
Mu3ammir or Harrim (one who lives long or one who becomes old and weak, and that would be 70+)
Does that make sense? Maybe you were asking for a simple answer, but I get carried away sometimes

ya shabab!! i love it when my friends say it..
