Islamica's Siyam Club
Asalaamu 3alikum wa rahmatullahi Barakatuhu all Islamicans,
This is a grant opportunity for myself and you to benefit from our good health to fast the voluntary fasts on Mondays and Thursdays starting tomorrow inshaAllah. Tomorrow is MONDAY  I want bunch of Islamicans joining me while I fast inshaAllah!
There are numerous hadiths on the blessings of fasting and following the Sunnah of Prophet (sallahu walle wasalaam) and research done on benefits of Fasting. I know al ot of us grew up learning them..i dont feel its necessary for me to post 'em up..however I feel its important to emphasis..that there are many components of the article 'faith" a) having faith in your heart b) implementing it into action c) bringing it up on my tongues..'
and fasting to me satisfies the second component of faith, where we will be fasting for Allah azzwajal, as we know how much HE loves those who fasts and the smell of the believers breath..subhaAllah..so let us make the intention to fast tomorrow and gather as much as thawb we can while we got a chance to earn up hasanats... 
Please type your name below to show you'll be fasting tomorrow. Remember to have something to eat for suhur.
For suhur- I"ll try to get up or i don't have had some tuna sandwich..I will be fine inshaAllahincase u want some solid proof..here..
There follow a number of ahaadeeth which encourage fasting on Mondays and Thursdays:
1 – It was narrated from Abu Qataadah al-Ansaari that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked about fasting on Mondays. He said: “On that day I was born, and on it the Revelation came to me.” Narrated by Muslim, 1162.
2 – It was narrated that ‘Aa’ishah (may Allaah be pleased with her) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was keen to fast on Mondays and Thursdays. Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 745; al-Nasaa’i, 2361; Ibn Maajah, 1739; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1044.
3 – It was narrated from Abu Hurayrah (may Allaah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Deeds are shown (to Allaah) on Mondays and Thursdays, and I like my deeds to be shown when I am fasting.” Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 747; classed as saheeh by al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Targheeb, 1041. |

THE ONLY ONE-Fasting Monday
Suhur-not sure; had extra tuna sandwich and plenty of water for dinner.
ps remember me in ur du3as for i have 2 exams tomorrow..and now i am off to sleep inshaAllah.

I used to be a good child of Adam (as) fast every Monday and Thursday back in HS..then I found lame excuses for myself. However I find that fasting strengths my iman a great deal. al hamdoulilah. PROPS TO U BRO for joining. may Allah azzwajal accepts all our fasts and dua3s and unite our Ummah! ameen . |

Asalaamu 3alikum everyone,
I have Seven Hours to go inshaAllah.. Currently,I have a heart burn first it was intense now its becoming more and more mild al hamdulilah!! I can do it!!!

inshaAllah by end of this day, I'll have a cool siggy made for all the members!!!
How can sincerity be condition of fasting? Love for Allah at any cost is a trait which means everything. |

I joined my iftari with friends..pizza, soup and grapes...al hamdoulilah TariqBinSleepin did u fast? are u gonna sign up as a member this thursday?

How to become a ISC member?
Prior to your registration with our committe which includes, me myself and I ther are certain conditions you have meet in order to member a full pledged member:
1. Must support our needy brothers and sisters in Islam with sincere rep points every Mondays and Thursdays to help us maximize our generousity. Only ISC members are eligible to receive such benefits. al hamdoulilah.
2. to become a member..leave your name here and indicate when will u start fasting and paste the glittery thing in ur sign..thats all to it.. |

LOL, You YOu and The_Only_One You. Funny. Ok i'll join, but that banner is too BIG! Make it smaller, and make it say: ISC thats it. Want me to make one? I like simplicity ....ITS GOOD don't get me wrong, but i hate having a HUGE flashy dashy SIgniturre >.<" But i'll join..umm real name of fake name? LOL
