Ramadan 2008
What have you done to prepare for it?
(and all talks about the greatness and giddiness of ramadan)

Re: Ramadan 2008
Um, I haven't really prepared for it yet. Other than trying to finish reading the Qu'ran by the time Ramadan starts so I can read it from cover-to-cover during Ramadan.

You gotta retime your exercise so its either right after Sahoor or right after iftar. Then it'll be easier insha Allah. As for talking, you gotta be more conscious of what you say. And make lotsa dua donchaknow

Re: Ramadan 2008
I am working on a ramadan calendar for my nephews. About thirty boxes containing:
- An Islamic story
- A Qur'aanic verse (only juz 'amma though)
- Islamic tenets ( e.g what is qadr')
- A mission for the day (e.g play with three kids you don't normally play with)
- A date and a lollipop (auntie has to be nice, I wanted to give them dates and just dates, but their father came with the lollipops)
It's alot of fun really and they learn a lot. We did a similar thing last ramadan.

Re: Ramadan 2008
My aims for ramadhan this year are to:
-stop being grumpy with everyone
-record my dad's quran recitation during tarawih (it might be his last one)
