And unfortunately so does school. Which basically means no Taraweeh four out of five weekdays

Re: Ramadan 2008
I'm definately really excited for it as always. I think I might start fasting Mondays and Thursdays to help prepare iA. This past Jummah's khutbah was a wakeup call and helped motivate me more.

Re: Ramadan 2008
Last year I sucked at fasting...i have ot eat every 3-4 hours or i start getting terrible stomach issues.
I managed it in 2005 and 2006 with no issues as I didn't work so I could spend as much time in the bathroom as i needed.
Last year was too difficult..any tips?

Re: Ramadan 2008
This year, I'll be spending Ramadan at my parent's house. That means I get to eat a proper meal for breakfast instead of the dry Ramen soup every morning during last Ramadan.

Re: Ramadan 2008
salams everyone,
i got a big secret to share with everyone. hopefully it'll put to some use. prior to my umrah trip, my goal was to memorize bunch of duas from the quran and hadith, unfortunately, due to a shortage of time and short brain storage i didnt get around my goal ..hence, i uploaded tons and tons of awesome duas by qari al fafsy from youtube to my mp3 which i found very useful. al hamdoulilah i kept utilizing them through out the trip..
fortunately, i stilll do, especially on fridays..since we know that there's an hr on friday that our duas get accepted..so i keep playing the favorite set of my duas. least to, its a great heart softener and prevents me from thinking about intangible things.
same goal for the ramadan. iA
