Hindus will not get Kashmir land

The government of Indian-administered Kashmir has said it will revoke its decision to transfer land to a body that manages an important Hindu shrine.

News that the Amarnath Shrine Board was to get the forest land sparked days of protests by the area's Muslim majority. Three people were killed and hundreds injured, including police officers. The protests were the among the biggest in the disputed Himalayan region for years, and widened to focus on pro-independence demands.

'Conspiracy'
State Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad said the cabinet would formally revoke the plans. He was speaking after the shrine board's management offered to return the land.
The state government now says it will provide all the necessary facilities for pilgrims who want to visit the shrine. The government had said the land was needed for the construction of pre-fabricated huts and toilets for the pilgrims. Separatist groups said the transfer of land was part of a "conspiracy to settle non-local Hindus in the valley with a view to reducing the Muslims to a minority". Local environmentalists also protested against the decision. The unrest has brought back memories of widespread protests that swept the region after a separatist insurgency began in 1989.

I was pleasantly surprised one morning to hear about the reversed decesion to give away Kashmiri land to indians! Kashmir belongs to Kashmiris and Muslims period, not indians!

When will they learn? You can murder us, rape us all you want but we won't stop the fight!

these indians were always looking for this, i am glad kashmiri muslims stood up against this, i hope this sends a clear messege to these indians, they dont belong in kashmir. I heard that thousands of indian biharis and bengalis have moved to kashmir in recent years because of this plan, i hope they get kicked out.

Al-Hind belongs to the Muslims and will be returned to us inshallah.

i wish it could, but i doubt all of it will, because most indians muslims have become pathetic living under the hindus, i mean they even say things like vande mataram and jai hindi etc... Hopefully Kashmir will be though, it never belonged to India.

There is a hadith about it. I don't know if that attitude can be attributed to most Indian Muslims, so be careful about your generalizations.

They're not modern Muslim indians, they're just confused people you can't blame them.

They've been living in a society where they are considered enemies of india. Thank god in Kashmir we Muslims are a majority, but in other places of India you have no idea what they do to Indian Muslims to prove they worthy of being "indian". They are forced to hate Pakistan and forced to say things like "Jai Hind". After Pakistan had beaten India at the Kitply Cup and the Tri-Nation Series, there was an attack on Muslims in Jammu during Isha namaz, claiming they supported Pakistan.

I still have family on the occupied side (in Baramula district) they're conditions are pretty bad but still they're only doing it so save our lands! Those sick Indians are uprooting us Muslim Kashmiris from our lands and giving them away to non-Kashmiri Hindus, so the proportion fo Hindus increases. And then they cry about this "Cross border terrorism" crap! God I hate India!

This is how sick Indians are. Kashmir is just the beggining. Once Kashmir belongs to Pakistan, were going to get the rest back too! We Muslims ruled from Peshawar to Dhaka and we'll do it again.

Hmmmm, interesting! One would have thought that this prophecy was already fulfilled....but then the hadeeth says that the same group will find Prophet Eesa [as] when they return! Very interesting. Jazakh-Allah Khair.
