It's fine. I'm super pissy myself today becuase my car broke down big time, it had to go to the stupid dealership big time. When a car with 200,000+ miles goes to the dealership becuase there are no after market parts for your problem, it doesn't usually mean good things. I need my car to be like Forest Gump, not like Shoaib Akhtar.

I had the flu last week. It sucked. Get some rest.

No, that's not my car now, though I did drive a Gremlin at one time. My current car is a 1995 Eagle Vision with 212,000 odd miles on it. If I had the money, I would get another car. For now it's cheaper to keep fixing this one than to make car payments on another one.

ouch a mid 90's domestic ::cringes:: I agree with you about it being cheaper to fix, but I recommend mid to late 90's japanese cars, cheap and reliable. I had a 1994 Toyota camry XLE with 186,000 miles on it, someone bought it off me with major body damage, still ran like a champion though!

Yeah, but my mom bought it for me, and only made me pay her back $1500 for it. When our nice car got killed by a large deer in 2003, I was in a bit of a fix and needed a car immediately. Beggars can't be choosers.

My husband was driving to work about 5am, and hit a deer. I was working in Seattle that summer, far from him. So, my mom bought me the car the next day, and took it to him so he could go to work. The car was a 1990 Pontiac Grand Am with only 90,000 miles on it. The engine was really well maintained, it was comfortable, I really liked that car. It was also the first decent car I bought for myself. We tried to fix it afterwords, but it was never right after that accident. We ended up giving it to one of our cousins. They didn't have it long after that, but I don't know what they did with it.
